What is the preferable aging technique? Are we talking Paul Giamatti sideways ambient aging or just let it sit in the back of my beer fridge (hidden of course with an O'Duels label) until I finally remember it's even there?

@ryanwasko If you do Age it. It will no longer be an IPA but more of a Barleywine, since Hop character doesn't age that well.

This is my friend's favorite beer, for DFH I prefer an Olde School Barleywine or an Aprihop. So many good times. Nothing but respect for Sam, he's a master brewer and a genius in the industry!

Not a big fan of IPA's in general... but holy shit this is good IPA. Almost a artificial grape flavor with a sweet after taste.

I was very intimidated by this when I first picked up a bottle, since most higher % abv beers go down pretty strong kind of liquor-ish. But it was a very pleasant surprise with how smooth this went down, probably best beer I've had. If not for price I'd pick it up more often. I been aging a bottle, saving it for a "special occasion" for a year now, unfortunately that special occasion has not arose, it will taste great when it does happen. cheers
