You havent really played this game until you see the differences in the arcade. No more Wise fwom your Gwabe Elmer Fudd Impersonations. In the arcade when you die and put in more quarters, the Zeus guy says "Never Give Up" and sounds like it's voiced by Dolph Lundgren from Rocky IV lol.

Though when I worked in EB many years ago we were flooded with nothing buy used copies of Virtua Racing (possibly as they bought them from customers for the US equivalent of $80 at the time).
Yah it was a dollar. Now that I'm older, I'm just bulking out my collection. When I go to my local used music/game store here, they mostly have a crap load of Sonic 2 and Shaq Fus.
The only time I ever played Virtua Racing is when it came out with the 32X.

You can always import the Pal or JPN version. You actually should its a funky game. Better than that next gen Golden Axe crap.
You can either mod your PS2 to play it or find a cheap ass hard drive and use HD loader. I recommend HD loader. Its so fuckin easy to use. Just make a ISO image of the DVD onto your computer HDD and then transfer it to your PS2 HDD. Then play.
I was dying laughing during the live action Altered Beast part. I can't believe you desecrated a cemetery for entertainment purposes. LOL

This was one of my first genesis games. I played it at my friend house in this one plug-and-play thing. Didn't even know it was for the genesis.
Hell I didn't even know what a genesis was!
But yeah, I was better at it then my friend ;-)
