Guys, admitting a cover is good doesn't mean the original isn't! It doesn't bring the original down at all... Why do people have such a hard time admitting Chester is good? Having more good singers in the world is an advantage, not a disadvantage.
the highest part Chester does is absolutly perfect. but the notes leading to it are flat E-V-E-R-Y time. it rubs me wrong, bad. not to nitpick. that line is impossible. and I think Chris did his solo because, other than the fact that he wanted to, Chester couldnt. Chesters got a hellava range, but I dont see him goin that high

You and cadotter and the others that think that dont deserve this music neither Chris voice. And i remember the other original voice of this and are another god of grunge (and non comercial rock). Who realy are Chester and LP and ther comercial think stuff?! And is deteriorated voice compared with all years that Chris have on road?!

No way. Chris Cornell's voice is so much more than Chester's. Chester can growl in his songs but Chris can scream. He doesn't even have to try. Chester has to tense up his throat to do anything

Chester can hit low note too, just look at Grey Daze - Learn To Fly. Just look at 3:38, Chris can hit the high stuff but he struggles, where it's easier for Chester

He's trying to mimic chris' style of singing, Chesters' got all octave ranges because of his natural born vocal type, he can hit any note he wants.

That's the theme of the original song though, the prelude notes before and throughout ( in terms of lyrics ) are meant to be flat before flaring up.
