It removes the ads but Windows Live Messenger logo still remains so it doesn't really help much.

is the patch better or this .. i hat the patch on xp . no problems .. but this is a program that i have to install and unistall again .. i dont feel like to trust it ..

You can edit the hosts file without disabling User Access Control by right-clicking on Notepad and selecting "Run as Administrator".

Lately I'm having issues with logging into the messenger service it says that its because of the firewall but I turned it off and opened connections to msn so I dont know whats wrong :S

Can anyone let me know?
