  • I think the husband shouldve beat julie's clit with a rolling pin. Everytime she screwed up a meal she got one more bruise. Now THAT would be a comdedy.

  • absolutely adored this movie.

  • First time i saw this movie i fell in love with it(8

    and hungry P:

  • @MissSmokahontas Me too. I also like the Julie in this movie a lot more than the real Julie. The real Julie is a foul mouthed, cheating woman.

  • @lostindiancamp lol I know right? After watching the movie I can't believe what she said about Julia. But then again during the time of the interview Julie was 90 years old and already very famous and we know how grumpy some women get when they reach that age. They don't use their brains very well and are quick to judge on people like Julia.

  • great movie is my fav of all!

  • I can't help but think that Meryl Streep's portrayal of Margaret Thatcher is going to be the same as Julia Childs.

  • Comment removed

  • @Simple1Jack yeah the way she talks! the accent made me cringe a little while I was watching the movie.

  • "Yummy"! ;-)

  • 0:38 that woman is lost

  • Whats the song at the end that starts playing Maybe fillmsi.co.cc knows...

  • Why Not Juliet & Julie :( my and me best friend!

  • @saurp2 Are you posting on the right video? There was no villain in this movie.

  • Julia and Paul Child were the perfect couplke with the perfect relationship. Who wouldn't want to be as happy as they were togather.

  • What Is on e thing You Love to Do ...... EAT!!! Lmaoo

  • I watched this on the plane, and my goodness it made me SO HUNGRY!

Especially considering the plane food I had to eat...

  • One of my favorite "food" movies!

  • Julia child thought that she did not take pride in cuisine.

  • hey does any1 know if i can watch this at a young age? im 17 and just by looking at the trailer, its inspiring me to start cooking

  • @flwrgrl13 no excuses, child, and no asking for permission, you hear? My advice would be you watch this movie. Just be sure to be properly fed before, because before you know it you will find yourself growing hungry for more ;)

    Bon appétit!

  • If you want to find out, just watch the damn? movie and quit complaining. just watch it on fillmsi.co.cc to find out. I'm going to watch this movie, because there's him in it. Looks really great movie.

  • for a whole year i thought she was Nicole Kidman and she's Amy?god i m stupid

  • Julia Child was a good cook and all, but her show was boring. Shows nowadays spice it up with family drama and stuff. Even adventure. Extreme Chef even mixes in survival elements. It's on Food Network tonight at 10.

  • Amy Adams looks cute with short hair.

  • i just watched this movie it was really intresting but the ending was not that good.. i really expected a great ending. Maybe it's just me since most endings of movies dissapoint me

  • Wow. there is a lot of deleted footage in this trailer!

  • @MsMrpolo123 WHY are so many people commenting on this video thinking it's The Fountain?! THIS IS JULIE & JULIA, not The Fountain!

  • @MegaDon567 THAT WAS THE FOUNTAIN. THIS IS JULIE & JULIA.

  • @polash330 That was "The Fountain", you retarded shit.

  • I saw this movie last year and I really enjoyed it. Don't understand why it didn't get more credit. Both amy and Meryl did a great job in the film. Btw I think everyone already knows Amy and Isla look alike. Kinda getting annoying already..like Zooey and Katy..

  • bad movie

  • i just have to say it. the only thing keeping me from watching this interesting movie is amy adams. i don't know why, but i just don't think she can act... :|

  • I love this movie ** Amy Adams is so cute with this haircut, anyway XD

  • who recognized Chloe from 24 (Mary Lynn Rajskub) in this trailer? ;) XD

  • @1NCISAngel1 Funny she was also in Sunshine Cleaning with Amy Adams!

  • @brookita05 haha yeah this was a good movie and that was a good movie. It's funny what fate can do! =)

  • whats the song called at the end?

  • @lili2893

    Jem-Its Amazing :)

  • WARNING: this movie can cause you to become hungry!!

  • @partygirl209 No kidding. I made a poached egg for the first time because of this movie. I also want to try to fix that tomato on bread dish she made.

  • @lostindiancamp i've never made poached egg (i'm more of a scrambled, fried or omelette person) but i want to!! and that tomato on bread looks good!!

  • LOL my name is julie!

  • @uttam4some1 your son knows you spam on movie trailers?

  • Meryl Streep in this movie and Doubt should not have gotten Oscar noms at all. What were those noms really but personal favors? Meryl is an amazing actress, but the quality of her films are waning. That, and Amy Adams is just MEg Ryan Brunette in this movie.

  • I'm coming to You Tube soon! Request recipes and Sub now!

  • THERE'S ALL OF THIS STUFF ON THE FLOOR

  • this was a boring movie.sorry:(

  • What's up with all the spam??

  • if it was after 2005, instead of 2002, julie would be doing the blog on youtube....vlogging and cooking !!

  • what's up with all the spam comments??

  • @Finding4Me I have no clue. Apparently some idiot is spamming the wrong video: They think they're commenting on the trailer for a movie called The Fountain, to advertise their virus site or something.

  • Amy Adams has surely come a hell of a long way from that character she played in "Drop Dead Gorgeous"!!!!! I enjoyed this movie:):):)

  • I just watched this movie. Its such a simple movie but with soooo many beautiful details. I am sure a lot of men would say: THERES NOTHING HAPPENING??!!. But I LOVE IT. I love getting to know people's stories. These women are sooo different but their stories match very well. Wonderful movie. And I sooo wanna cook something now :))

  • did anyone noticed that the actress starring julia's sister

is actually Sue from Glee? :)))

  • reasons i love this movie:

    its awesome

meryl streep and stanley tucci together again

    jane lynch as her sister

    and amy adams is adorable!

  • seems really good :) im gonna see it. and my name is julia, haha :)

  • amazing performance from both great actress Amy looks simple but respectful while Meryl performance is so awesome very suit to her!

  • this has to be one of my favorite movies....because its about fooooooooooooood!

  • im watching this movie as i type on STARZ....actually is a really interesting movie. im a big fan of food and watching a movie about food and a woman attempting to make food interests me! meryl streep-awesome acting! thumbs up if u agree!

  • I never, EVER get tired of watching this movie. At this moment i am watching a biography on Julia Child on the Cooking Channel and i am about to go OnDemand to watch Julie & Julia for the 13th time. This movie is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! I love 'Julie & Julia'!

  • I wanted to hug Meryl Streep the whole time while I was watching the movie:D

  • "and what do you like to do?"

    "eat!"

"and we're so good at it!"

    "you make this so easy..."

    *lid flips off* RUN AWAY!

"bonjour!" *the cook school is all men* xD

"you have no talent for cooking..."

    *raspberry*

what a great movie for quotes!

  • NEVER APOLOGIZE!

    not a bad one, Meryl!

  • haven't seen this movie...but the movie "doubt" with amy adams and meryl streep and phillip seymour hoffman is great...look for a trailer of it!

  • The Julie character is a bitch and should of died. =)

  • teh worst genre of romantic comedy/trust-in-yourself happy ending supermarket movie

  • amy adams became a little bit fat....

she looked so skinny in Enchanted.....

  • best movie ever!

  • when we were watchin it i said isnt that amy adams? she says i dont think so at the end i was like haha it was and im only 12 and i can figure these things out haha mom!

  • @oyoyebutu

No she isn't. She portrays Julia child very well

  • Mrs Streep is trying hard to sound like that more elderly actress, whose voice is natural.

Where are the days of "The Deer Hunter" (197...8!)?

  • i loveeeeee this movie!!

  • I loved this movie, I felt really sad when she was told that Julia found her blog disrespectful but o well... I guess Julia doesn't like all the new technology lol

  • @xhappyxlifex I found a lot of stuff on google that explained what Child said about Powell.

  • this is my fav movie ever!<3 ive had a dream to be in the culinary career for a while and this movie has taught me some stuff (:

The Julie part taught me that you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it!

The Julia part taught me that you can break through the under-estimation that people tell you and to live life to the fullest! (:

i love this movie so much!!!<3

btw its funny how they didnt use the song at 2:09 in the movie haha

  • Such a good movie!

  • I LOVE IS MOVE ....

  • whats Julia Child's book again???

  • @samartz mastering the art of french cooking

  • Call me dumb, but i didnt get it, Meryl writes a book and the other one makes food from the book, is that it?

  • @mrbusan -

...remember it's a Nora Ephron picture, just a Lifetime movie with a much bigger budget and no one coughing up a lung or getting raped and pregnant.

Absolute waste of a movie and of Meryl Streeps talents. Five thumbs down

  • the julie part was fun! the julia part was boring!!

  • i love amy adams but goddam is she annoying in this movie

  • when i saw this movie the only thing that i wanted to do was cooking en EAT haha love this movie sooo much <3

  • AMY ADAMS LOOKS LIKE ISLA FISHER :P

  • @chocolate10396 Or does Isla Fisher look like Amy Adams? ;)

  • @chocolate10396 no she looks nothing like her.

  • @chocolate10396

I totally thought they were the same person !

  • Hilarious, inspiring and entertaining! Meryl Streep is as good as ever, never failed to wow the audience. Amy Adams is so adorable as Julia Powell, a woman who got her inspiration from Julie Child (Meryl Streep), a woman who popularized French cuisine in America.

  • The only thing i hate from this movie, is how Julie and his husband EAT! Please, CLOSE YOUR MOUTH! I HATE THAT NOISE WHEN THEY EAT WITH THE MOUTH OPEN! AJJ ¬ . IT MAKE ME SICK!

  • I took my parents and grandparents to see this and we all agreed on one thing: This film was and still is brilliant.

  • Awesome movie! it makes me want to cook/bake with tons of butter! hahahaha... great moral too!

  • fuck did i hate this movie

  • this movie is so boring.

  • Nice movie!

  • 2:25 lmao i love meryl streep

  • Her accent is pretty weird. But her recipes are wonderful.

  • this movie was seriously boring.

  • @ashbo23 did you ever find out the song? its in several movies, but i cant find it :/

  • whats with all the spam, well here is mine: kjots(.)com

  • im only going to watch this cause im hungry

  • This is one of the best movies Ive seen in a while. Meryl Streep didnt just play Julia Child, she became Julia Child. She is absolutely amazing. Amy Adams was great as Julie. And the husbands played great roles also. Stanley Tucci was excellent as Paul & I'd like to take Chris Messina home with me.

  • AH! Kacie Sheik was in there for a tiny millisecond!! Makes me smile!!! :D

    I love Kacie Sheik!!!

  • Do NOT watch The Lovely Bones before you watch this one. If you do, Mr. Childs will creep you out. (shuddering)

  • @Ampersandra heehee too late(: he does scary me in te lovely bones though..

  • @alexa7242 Yeah, he's so scary, now I don't trust him anymore.

The guy who played Julie Powell's husband, though, was great. The way he rescued her from the lobsters... he understands a husband's role in the home: taking care of all the things that make our skin crawl, and encouraging us. Bravo!

  • @Ampersandra haha i highly agree!(:

  • @Ampersandra, Chris Messina (who played Eric, Julie Powell's hubby) knew exactly what he was saying and doing when they filmed this. He in some respects reminds me of my sister's finacee.

  • t@Ampersandra hahaha no kidding i watched it first and i used to hate the guys til i watched this... lovely movie!

  • i love amy adams and meryl streep !!!!!!

  • The end brought tears of joy and happiness, Bravo Meryl Streep!!

  • what an exciting film - watch it at boxofvideos.comX Remove "X"

  • it doesn't seem like a drama so don't worry...you won't have to cry

  • It was a wonderful movie. It finished seeing this volume now.

    I thought these two Lady's husband I.

There was a dialog "The woman was Jew in New York" at the great antiquity.

It means it can do nothing but live by her talent because it is not accepted to the society.

The woman of the 21st century came to be able to find the pleasure with the life while working just like a man.

    This movie is wonderful.

  • @hunyasunar @TheGalith565 - Can't you spammers just shut the fuck up?

  • I would plow the crap out of Amy Adam' fat ass in this film. LOL

  • @aislingwoop action what? this is a drama and romance romance not action.

    Lol.

Btw this movie is awesome. I love this movie.

  • thanksss huzwich!

  • @mtrainor22

song entitled it's amazing by jem

  • i like the ending (2:22)

  • People please! It's a movie! An inventive and naturally talented woman that had a sense of purpose and a woman who was inspired by her. That's it !

aislingwoop - that was funny though : )

  • this is a supper aciton movie.

  • I was planning on going to this today. I was looking forward to it - but ... now I won't because I hadn't realized how sort of slap stick it was. Larger than life as someone earlier said. I'm disappointed and I really didn't think Meryl got the voice down as well as I'd hoped. I guess I just didn't realize it was such a comedy.

  • whats that song?

  • I saw this movie and then I checked out Julie Powell's blog. The movie played her as sweet and charming but her blog about cooking her way through the cookbook sounded like it was written by a sailor. She has a foul mouth on her and wasn't always kind about Julia's recipes. Guess the movie wouldn't be popular if they played her true to form. LOVED the movie - HATED her blog.

  • I just entered a comment, but it did not post?

  • When I saw Julie and Julia I was shocked out of my mind. I am having exactly the same kind of experience with the Food Network Stars! As I am a vegetarian (no meat, eggs or fish) I have to translate the meat of the day into a vegetarian equivalent... every single day! Great movie, great story, great actors and actresses. Bon Appetit! (Jackie in Santa Rosa)

  • plz comment fast im planning to see this movie is there any sex scenes?cuz im planning to see it with my mom so yea

  • Tell your mom that sex obviously occurs, because you exist as evidence of that fact.

  • your comment is totally random what doew it have to do with the movie?

  • fobbedout90210:

while i agree with jaredkeithwite, i can see your perspective. i just read a parents guide and it said that there is sex implied between married couples, but the big reason it's pg13 is for language.

  • Comment removed

  • so there is sex scenes in it? plz reply soon

  • imnotsure345 (or anyone else concerned about inappropriate content in this movie):

there are a couple scenes that imply sex (pretty obviously in 1), but it IS with a married couple every time. all 4 main characters (julie and her husband, and julia and her husband) are all completely faithful to their spouses, if you're worried.

i watched it with my girlfriend last month or so, and i was kinda uncomfortable in a couple spots. don't take children unless you watch it first.

    great movie though.

  • I've had a few girlfriends say this is definitely a chick flick and is quite enjoyabe! Going to see it tomorrow night. I think Meryl Streep in excellent!
