Classical music takes the most talent and effort to compose. You need to know the piano inside out with a competent skill on the violin or the flute. You need to be able to completely read music. And the knowledge of hundred different types of instruments and how they can be incorporated is necessary to compose classical music. Def harder than writing music these days

@vonKyle777 whats the benefit of doing that in the first place..(I'm 14) i enjoy some classical things but one thing I've always liked is that my father let me listen to what i wanted.. because music through out its entirety has always follow the same theoretic concepts.. and as long as i knew what i was listening to and understood the theory behind it its just as educational as listening to a symphony reguardless if it is avenged sevenfold or johann sebastian bach.
