I would suggest everyone take an economics class or two to really understand how our economy works. I have nothing against the democratic party; but for years and years, democratic candidates have "promised" to lower taxes, but propose legislation that would only increase our taxes. If so many people dislike Bush then how did he make it to a second term in office. Very simply put; progressive taxation of corporations/those making over 100 grand would help fund things like permanent supportive housing/affordable housing, education,healthcare,etc. I myself, a social worker with a master's degree making 35,000 would willingly pay my share of taxes if it guaranteed a social safety net for the future. I would suggest everyone take an economics class or two to really understand how our economy works. I have nothing against the democratic party; but for years and years, democratic candidates have "promised" to lower taxes, but propose legislation that would only increase our taxes. Right, but theres alot of people who say Nixon was good guy. Also alot who think Clinton was good. And alot who think Bush is evil and alot who think he's a Godsend. I happen to believe that they are all evil. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if a bunch of US officials got together and did it. I wouldn't put anything past them. That doesn't mean that they did it. But I'm not a nutjob for wanting them to answer a few questions for Christsake.

But that's the thing. Why would anyone want to do it (except for the obvious and accepted explanation). No one gets anything out of it. Many say money, but all those accused are already wealthy. The reasoning just never passes the reasonable person test.

Why does Bill Gates still get up and go to work every morning? He's already wealthy. These people aren't motivated purely by money. It's winning they want. It feeds their ego. Power. You may be a reasonable person, comparing the theory to what you might or might not do. These guys are not you. They may not be reasonable. Why did Hitler do what he did? He was already leader. He already was set for life as far as money goes.

They are Holy? Grow up! I don't care who is doing bad things, it's still wrong to do bad things and it should be pointed out by those who notice.
