@cerock1234 Partisanship democracy does not make. We actually have many poltical parties and the Democrats and the Republicans are really just the two most powerful parties in the U.S., hell, many U.S. Presidents weren't Democrats or Republicans, they were Whigs. Many political parties can be bad for a society, they can divide a nation, just like President Washington warned. It's already bad enough that we have any at all.
