  • I'm a socialist...but i hate war....take that as you will...

  • @TheJames1233 im a marxist but i also hate war... just like you....

  • China And Russia Gave Supplies To North,America Gave Supplies To South

  • @SgtMeatCake a segregate war...just to stop the spread of an idea

  • I love Korea, especially learning about the war

  • I love how big country used to go to another small and poor one to make their little war... Test materials, ammunition, etc... Vietnam, Korea. It's is always big coutries that fuck another big country, BUT NOT IN THEIR BACKWARD ^^

  • @Fabzil Are u being racist or just being retarded?

  • @RacistTrollHunter You got the best hobby on Earth, a racist troll on YT xD

  • When I saw this movie, the thing I always thought interesting was how the main character NEVER looked through the sights of his M1 rifle. Thus all of his shots were pretty amazing.

  • @Johndoe

Don't you think over 1 Billion Dead humans are a bit to much?

  • USA should have nuked China during the Korean war...so today there wouldn't be millions of North Koreans starving to death. And there would be no bully, polluter land grabber China today.

  • @Johndoe9278 the way you described china matches perfectly with america. LOL.

  • @SirHungryHippo welll we will have to make it ourself we will make factorys trade is a bullshit excuse what about our time today africa middle east and asia were european colonies british raj french indochina japan controlled korea china was nationalist not communist germany was under kaiser russia was under czar or tsar before nazi and soviets we americans need to make industry factorys and agriculture we dont need china to make clothes wood soccer balls plastic glass we can make it ourselfs

  • @emperorhiroshito13 idiot. If america starts making their own stuff, they will go through the worst inflation in their HISTORY

  • @Johndoe9278 if chinas gone who would make our underpants? :(

  • Comment removed

  • man are the guys who did the VFX for BoB going everywhere now? it feels like every war movie or series since are using the same devices and mechanics, not to mention a very similar directing style

  • god damn north sucks at aiming i mean come on they had a good ambush

  • war really is such a strange phenomenon

  • @KingKrabb999 Not really. Animals do it all the time. Ants, monkeys, baboons. It's nature.

  • @shiron236 what? I thought humans were the only ones who attacked their own kind.

  • @KingKrabb999 Lions attack one another over territory... Ants do the same... Monkeys... Apes... It's all part of nature. Honestly, this should be common sense if you study the behaviors of animals or at least watch Discovery Channel or whatever it's called. You'll understand what I'm talking about.

  • IRL the squad on the highground would have annihilated the squad downhill and held their position instead of running down the hill. Typical movie battle. There would never be a firefight, just an ambush and alot of dead soldiers.

  • Is this the movie, "Taegukgi?"

  • those mines were pretty damn big to be anti-personal

  • if he actually stepped on a landmine, than there should not be any bleeding, because the heat from the explosion would of cauterized the wound immediatly.

  • korea have balls??

  • I see all WWII weapons on both sides, but why didnt the ROK or Americans still use Thompsons? It seems like it would be good in fights like this.

  • @guyman117 The South wasn't very well equipped for war since the UN said not to arm both sides because there was an election to reunify North and South. But Russia equipped the North and America did not equip the South.

  • when a guy gets blown by landmine its a goof those kind og mine is for tanks like 400 pounds to detonate

  • @sixshot4 Geez from your spelling and grammar I can tell you must have a PhD on the subject!

  • are those korean dressed up as an american

  • @CSjag19 the south korean army used american equipment back in the korean war

  • @CSjag19 We gave them most of their equipment, uniforms, guns, tanks, etc

  • can you ppl set in PEACE ?

  • Nicee Bloods effect you got there.

  • scary.

  • no im like sayin maybe in future they will have landmine identifiers or sumtin that says if its freindly

  • @StevieDin3D dude.. this is south korea co. americans vs north korea co. china.. except in this film. its mostly just north and south koreans

  • Shot like 5 times then blown up by a landmine... Ouch...

  • one guy got his ass blow up lol

  • The other ones coming from the hill cant shoot a freakin' thing:D.

  • is this ww2? i don't know anything about the korean war

  • @The506thParatrooper the is the Koeran war ( same war as shown in the sitcom MASH) and this is from the movie Brotherhood of War.

  • (16 year old boy commenting) The South koreans were more patriotic than the South Vietnamese. The reason why South Korea survive is that they fought well, even though many of them died. The North Koreans and Chinese Communists died more than the Americans and their allies.Go South Korea!!! teach your Northern scum communist neighbor what you and your American allies were made of !!!

  • @lsmvince south lost north won learn

communism wins again from u capital scums

glory to japan north korea and russia!

  • @outskool100 what exactly the did South lose- South Koreas standard of living is far hight that north Koerans

  • @lsmvince Yes they died more but for them their objective was partially achieved, for China it did anyway. Not for America though because they wanted to destroy communism altogether. As of today, it is still still standing as we speak. The war on overthrowing communism gets harder by the day as military tech and economy for both DPRK and China continues to grow whilst the US economy is lying in tatters.

  • PPSH and Mosin-Nagan's - NK weapons

  • @Strauss234 that's right.. and the South Koreans working with the UN were issued M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, and Browning Automatic Rifles (BARs), although some were also given Thompsons as well.. Most of which were seen in WWII, which was a long time before the development of the M16 or the M14 rifle.

  • One of the best war movies EVER

  • what movie is this and yea dudedudemoney its not a striker its a ppsh41 like bantheidiotspls said (nice name btw)

  • haha a guy got blown up on his own landmine and u.s pwns

  • @poohhopper

Hahhaha, U.S.? I think those are Koreans too:D.

  • @warAxeFIN no the guy i was talking about was a korean and he walked on his own teams landmine jeese they should put freind or foe idenifiers or sumtin cause ya ever wonder how many men got blown up on theyre own landmines

  • @poohhopper

Yea, I know that, but you said that "U.S." pwns, they aren't even taking a part in this battle:D.

  • @poohhopper lol you do realise that landmines are meant to be concealled- Putting a red flag where all you mines are kind of defeats the whole point of having mines in the first place

  • 1:01 = Striker shot-gun from modern warfare 2?

  • No its not its russian ppsh41 and striker isnt from Mw2 it exists in real life actually 0.o

  • Fucking North Koreans.Careless bastards,That's what they are. FUCK THEM!

  • @tripntwinmom right on.

  • 2:02 Head shot!!

  • who the fuck are you to talk about this movie like that? can you aim while you are in a war? Oh sorry, i forgot that you will be busy hiding in some type of bunker and shit.

  • @PacisTerra who the fuck would take their time to aim while being ambushed and shot at i would just shoot randomly and hope i get a kill.

  • Dude, I saw this movie, it was awesome, but some parts confused me, and what was with the shoes?

  • gross..

  • ppsh 41 guy pwned the south koreans there.

  • where

    white horse mountain in Utah

    or

    Chosin Resorvoir on North Carolina

  • this movie is bull shit

we know that usa get ass fucked there

usa after the ww2 think that she the major power ,and starting war all over the world. thats dream fly away in the Korean and Vietnam war

  • Without China and Russia North Korea wouldn't of had the balls to invade the South.

  • @ClutchFan1971

Actually, NK did have balls, they started the war after the Korean Commies led by KJI ran North Korea.

  • @Hanul91 it wasnt led my kim jung il. lol. it was kim il sung. KJI wasnt even born then

  • @ClutchFan1971

And without the United States/United Nations the South would be a part of North Korea.

  • @frustratedsigh Nope, it wouldn't be part of "North Korea", it would just be "Korea". US and UN participation was the cause of the country splitting in two. Just like in Vietnam until they lost the Vietnam war and pulled out.

  • It would technically be "Korea" but it still would be how North Korea is, except as a whole. Notice how in Vietnam and Korea the people we saved live like Kings compared to the shit holes Russia got... And we didn't lose in Vietnam, our government was stupid and gay and made us pull out. we could have and should have won the Vietnam conflict, but gay liberals decided it was violent for the poor Vietnamese, so we left, and Russia lined up MILLIONS of innocent people and shot them dead...

  • @GuamKomudo You did lose, it's called War of Attrition. The Vietcong were using tactics straight from of the book of the Art of War, using deception, firebombing supply lines, usage of spies, and pitting "one against ten, or one against twenty." Plus the US army suffered 358,000 dead or wounded out of 543,000 troops. In addition, the biggest hindrance was the fact the American troops were unskilled in guerrilla combat making it easy for V.C. forces to ambush American soldiers sitting ducks.

  • @CosmoShidan Sorry, I meant to say US troops were sitting ducks due to lack of knowledge of unconventional fighting. lol :) Anyways, the Cong tired out the US army the same way the Greeks tired out the Persians at Plataea and Salamis. If the US army had the Filipino Battalion Combat Teams backing up the Vietnam war effort as they did during the Korean Conflict, it might have gone in their favor.

  • @CosmoShidan Lastly, the Cong had knowledge of the terrain; which is a huge advantage an army has over the enemy, because the one who masters the terrain, knows every inch of the way.

  • It's called, our own gay hippy government decided that it would be mean to actually win so they stopped supplying us with stuff, and pulled all our guys out. I'm pretty sure we could have won if the government didn't do that... Our people were slightly trained in all types of combat. Not to mention the viet cong were also using tactics like sending 4 year old girls over to people with a granade to be used as a suicide bomber... You seem pretty proud of those jerks...

  • @GuamKomudo You lost because your enemy did in fact use the Art of War in an unconventional fashion, and no, I just like to study warefare from time to time. I insist you read it. Yes the Cong used suicide bombers like the Japanese, because Charlie knew they could not win traditionally, i.e., man-to-man; so they went nontraditional. Plus, Nam was halfway around the world making resupply time consuming for the USA, and since you only get two trains of supply, your war is lost.

  • Looking at what happend after with Russia comming into the south, and dragging women and children out of their homes and shooting them all dead sounds just dandy... You act like Vietnam and Korea got something good from Russia. Lets look at south Korea VS North Korea... North Korea fails at life... They had to pay Chinese people to cheer for them suring the olimpics AND told their people who wern't alowed to watch it, that they placed gold in every single event in the Olimpics... FAIL!!!

  • @GuamKomudo I told you, I like warfare sometimes, I was never even referring to how Communism nor did I ever claim to support it. I just pointing out, from Sun Tzu's classic, how it relates to strategy employed by Vietnam. The Korean War on the other hand would have won had President Eisenhower not have cease-fired, though, it was for the better because the UNC would have to invade Red lands then cover the costs for reconstruction which would cost more than the $67 billion dollars already spent.

  • @CosmoShidan In addition, the Red Lands are China, Russia, and North Korea and the size of those nations, and how the large landmass would be a burden to the UNC. The cease-fire was necessary and thank Musashi that such an act was never carried out or else there would be a bigger burden for the United Nations Command.

  • @GuamKomudo Your 'gay hippy' government were the only ones keeping action in Vietnam going.

They lied through their teeth to the American public about how well the war was going until eventually they crumbled and had to pull out of Vietnam.

If they American's didn't pull out their only option to win was a nuclear strike, either that or the war would still probably be going on today.

Learn some history you ignorant American, I really hope they don't teach you this in school.

  • You people are all so stupid if you believe that I am stupid because I was born on a certin peice of land... I'm sure there are MANY different stories out there of why the US pulled out of Vietnam. But all the hippy freaks going on about their crap in the 60s protesting etc had alot to do with it. Also war being shown on a new household item called the TV was showing citizens the REALITY of what war looked like which made many people not support the war. There are many reasons why.

  • @ihavenolife78 Quit your ranting. You sound like a fool. You are using no concrete evidence... All you are using are assumptions and opinions. Get a better argument.

  • @ClutchFan1971 or without their leaders insanity.

  • @ClutchFan1971 North Korea has balls?

  • @ClutchFan1971 Today South Korea is strong enough to stop the Armies of North Korea, China and Russia.

  • @ClutchFan1971 damn right.

  • @ClutchFan1971 without russia, china, or america, korea would have vanished as a country. it's fucked up how things turned out but they were necessary for the survival of the korean identity.

  • we love you and support you my korean brothers...we will be with you everytime KOREAN&TURKISH REPUBLIC ROX:D

  • lolz

    1:33-DOUBLE KILL

    2:01-HEAD SHOT

  • r u kidding me? this is the korean war idiot, not ww2

  • This is ww2 not the Korean War. just look at their guns. the guys on the hill have japanese uniforms to.

  • Well the Korean War was after world war 2 so most weapons used were carryed over in to the Korean war. Aswell as the uniforms. This is a Korean war movie.

  • they used the same guns in the koren war as ww 2

  • idiot

  • @dragonhaven1 "This is ww2 not the Korean War. just look at their gun"

Nope this is the Korean war - and this is a scence from the movie the brotherhood of war

  • Gotta love the explosions and gunfire spacial effects look and sound realisic.

  • Hey!!! ... I saw this movie a few years ago on pay per view, and its awsome I love it, however dont know how its called... can anyone tell??? ... ohh yeah, and the noob who said that there are WW2 Weapons, Take history lessons dude ... in the korean and vietnam war US soldiers still had to use WW2 weapons cuz they didnt have enought of the better ones like M14 or M16 ... Shame on U!

  • Taegukgi - The Brotherhood of War

  • Its called, brotherhood, is a very moveing film

  • WTF, korean edition Saving Private Ryan?

  • This looks noting like Saving Private Ryan.

  • How is it like saving private ryan?

    Explain?

  • oh u, the coloring of the film is exact of that to SPR, and the gore is on par if not better, not to mention there are ww2 weapons featured in this film. do u see the itty bitty m1-garand? hmmk

  • Bloody good film though!!!

  • @jakeflood2 … no pun intended. lol.

  • On the island of JeJu the inhabitants refused to take part in elections of the puppet regime the American backed South Korean army massacred 30,000 of the islands population, again they were noncombattents. I could go on. The army of the North perpetrated countless attrocities against the US and the South.

  • In Korea the American air force systematically bombed and strafed unarmed civilians killing 2.5 million in the process. American soldiers massacred civilians at Sinchon all non-combattents. At NoGunRi American planes strafed refuggees being marched along the train track, those that then hid in a nearby tunnel were fired upon by American soldiers this went on for three days. The air assault killed 100 civilians - the soldiers murdered another 300 - again unarmed noncombattents

  • This movie made me so teary afterwards, it has got to be one of the best war films that I have ever seen.

  • This is a great movie. You guys should check it out.

  • who was who?

  • south korean soldiers was in the trenches,

North korean solders on hill side.

  • This is a great movie a litte sad but very nice

  • very sad

  • Omg why do you look something stupid like that...

    FREAKS............!

  • 2:02

    BOOM HEADSHAT.

  • ok ppsh's and bars they really fucked the guns for each side up :P

  • the way i read it you sound like a flunk, Russia(ppsh), N Korea = allies. America(BAR, m1), S Korea = allies. what do allies do? lend each other guns, airplanes, money, etc.

  • I dun how they can lose to the north.

The north can only keep up with them were the PPH the nagant suck.

I dun kno how the south lost in this secne they had more firepower.

Like the M1 and carbine and bar.

  • it isn't all about firepower and better weapons, its more about the advantage position: the north's were spread on a slope, and were better in numbers, best tactic for an ambush, most notably they were prepared for a fight; the souths were surprised by the attack, were walking togather on a road, and when a guy gets his leg blown of it takes about 5 men to take care of the casualty, so six guys are taken from battle, that's why they told my dad to shoot at the legs, when he serviced.

  • Well thank u for correcting me.

  • True, my grand father who was a south korean soldier and north koreans ambushed his squad a lot but he usually repelled them but also taking 2 or 3 casualties

  • did your grand father make it? if so, quite interesting stories he will be able to tll you, makes me jealous!

  • yes he did but did yours? if he didn't i am really sorry. However unfortunately my uncle was killed in Vietnam

  • I'm sorry for your loss, but i think you got me wrong, I dont know abouf any of my family to have fought in the Korean war, nor the Vietnam war, I live in the Netherlands, and a lot of my family lives in Germany and Hungary, so I know a lot of stories from the 1st and 2nd world war, I even had a grand-grandad who was torpedo-gunner in a U-Boot, and he also made it trough the war!

  • oh nevermind than but anyways my grandfather made his way to being a sergeant during the war

  • damn obese yanks....

  • Faggot

  • Douchebag

  • Yah the one North Korean guy had a PPSH. The hats were cheaper and lighter, I think. So don't yell at me if i got the hat thing wrong.

  • why do the north koreans only wear hats and no helmets?

  • wasnt the karean war in the 50s

  • take history lessons, please, why do you have to ask this? of course it was!

  • these were chinesse troops i think they were communist russia probly gave then the guns

  • recently i gave ya mother a special shot in the ass

  • in this war,the korean army did nothing but eascaping

  • yup u are correct

  • ok this is dum the koreans have american weapons and the americans have russian weapons

    '

  • did you watch the movie and do u know ur history the south koreans have american made weapons cause america supports the south oreans and the attack force was the north koreans and they were supported by russia

  • Hmm, i wonder why they gave the Koreans World War 2 weapons. You know, M1 Garands and PPSHs and such. When was the Korean war anyways? was it RIGHT after WW2 or what

  • south korea is americas ally and russia is noth koreas ally so america helped south korea and russia helped the north............the korean war started june 25 1950-1953

  • Didn't they make the m16 somewhere around 1950?

  • no it was around the vietnam war

  • yeah the M16A1 and A2 mods were made just before vietnam.....they it made in mind of "stopping communism".....it jammed too much so they started to send in M14 carbines.....jammed much less and everyone loved it haha

  • I honestly know who got pawned first.

  • This movies freakin sweet, and emotional too... very sad.

  • lemonde777 reminds me of speilbergs brothers in arms but just the korean version. not enough history on this war and yes it was a war,not police action, i think its rather good,

  • This is the south Koreans being attacked by the north Koreans (the Chinese hadn't gotten involved yet) and the film is called "Brotherhood". Weavers07 is right, it was the first war of the cold war. The UN including America, Great Britain etc sent troops to save the South Koreans from being over-run. South was an American puppet regime, the North was a communist. Anywho it went back and forth and ended at the 38 parallel where they are today. No peace has been declared technically they're at war

  • There was a secret pact between USA and USSR during WWII. Russia has to invade Japan after Hiroshima. They did and stayed in North Korea to convert Chinese (Koreans) people to communisn. So the Americans did with the capitalist system... The Russians went back home and North Korea send chinese troops against capitalists (to not send the rus. South Korea send its troops and americans went back home to avoid a WW3 against USSR.

  • they are south koreans

  • damn that one guy damn near took out the whole armey

  • i love the headshot that guy got

  • sineyo

  • I think South Korea, I believe North and South went against each other

  • south korea maybey?

  • they are south korean...you know, usa supportet south korea

  • yo didn't vietnam armies used russian and american weapons too?

  • Are you some kind of Vietnamese veteran that got his eyes torn out in the Vietnam War? Can't you see that they are wearing South Korean uniform?

  • what film is it?

  • Taegukgi - The Brotherhood of War

  • its this movie. i like this movie
