It certainly brings back memories, being brought up in Calcutta, moved to England UK, as a batchelor, but could not forget the Ladies from Calcutta & married an Anglo Indian from Calcutta and happy together for the past 48 years.
Same feelings here. Growing up in Calcutta, I heard this song and "To be in England" as a preteen in the early seventies when my elder sister used to play the vinyl record all the time. Never heard them again since. Couldn't find them in the US in over 19 years. Then moved to England and the songs returned very strongly. Suddenly I decided to look in the web and found them on YouTube.
