  • Pretty awesome

  • well from many points of view this song is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AWESOME

  • What covers did you use for the pickups? Are they soapbar gibson p90's? and the pickup rings aswell? and also the bridge? Trying to make an old boy sg replica myself. Thanks! :) Great music!

  • @THESHARKVIRUS Bareknuckle P90s with chromed covers. Custom rings. Thanks.

  • @TheSterlingSound Which specific pickup model are the bareknuckles?

  • @TheSterlingSound And also where exactly did you get the pickup rings?

  • @THESHARKVIRUS The rings were custom made...afaik you can't buy them in the shop

  • man can u please put a tab up from this and send it to me it is a minted tune and i iwant to learn it

  • @neji69er Check for Black Sabbath Anthology at Amazon

  • whats the tuning you used ind sir?i

  • @odtandbuddies That song is in C# tuning (1 1/2 steps down)

  • @asuschrist Correct :)

  • @crimsoncarcas I made it myself from a Gibson

  • Damn, it is expensive to get that raw sound.

  • @blacksabbatho Not really

  • YES! And the monkey sticker, too. Rt on. What's the amp?

  • @doctornerve Welcome Sir! The amp is a Hiwatt Higain 50w combo. Basically the original Hiwatt circuit w/gain engaged + a BSM treble booster

  • @TheSterlingSound I love how that higain channel cleans up and then roars when you bring up the guitar's volume... is the BSM treble boost on all the time?

    Ever played the Laney VH100r?

  • @doctornerve The dynamics come from the treble booster, it's on all the time; if you bring back the guitar volume to 2 or 3 it would be almost clean with some sparkle

  • @TheSterlingSound Good lord just visited BSM... they have 17 different treble boosters (!). Which do you use and how did you decide which model to get?

  • @doctornerve I have the RM Metal (which is supposed to be the 'Iommi' tone, basically just a full range Rangemaster boosting both the highs and mids) - I would say it gets you immediately into the territory. There's also one for Queen fans, a few fuzzes, and about 8 Ritchie Blackmore types!

  • nice that you have the single coil sg as well.

  • yeah.i'm a singer by trade.i always judge a solid guitar player by there knowledge of cording and ability to move through different positions on the neck.a lost art to the 60's and 70's.the 80's focus on lead guitar wankerism kind of killed that.i have a band called ORCHID that is a definitely a tip of the hat to all things sabbath.i'm always trying to learn more about the way iommi used chords.he was so unique.you're the kind of player i wish i could take lessons from.thanks for posting them.

  • wow...will you do more sabbath.you really have a handle on the cording for these.i realize i taught myself these in the most bonehead way.you've got a great ear.cheers man.

  • @theomindell Hi Theo yes I will do more Sabbath soon.. thanks for the compliment. The best way to learn the chording is watching a guitarist live - up close if possible

  • well played sir, helpful!
