You don't judge this band, or any band in fact, by their singing ability. Justin Beiber can sing but that don't mean he's good does it..The Sex Pistols is about the truth, speaking from the and telling it like it is. And there has been no one since that has done quite the same.
i remember when punk was just starting out and the sex pistols came to the US, the americans were like: "what the fuck is the big deal about this punk shit in the UK?"
but then when the clash came to america a few years later, everybody loved them haha
@aydooknow We had punk years before the UK. We had The Ramones,New York Dolls,Stooges,MC5 ect. The Sex Pistols played all in southern country bars and rooms except Winterland. People in the south wanted to see Lynard Skynard not The Sex Pistols, so thats why the hicks in the crowd say shit. Listen to the Baton Rouge gig tho,everyone in the crowd were singing the lyrics they knew it all and loved it. Also The Clash played in Boston,New York,Hollywood,Chicago ect,so people were use to them
