  • Hi, Dog! Thanks so much. Could you, please, read "Erlkonig" (type g"u"gle) and there's the lyric. And from Wagner's "Tannhauser" - O du mein holder Abendstern

Thanks, dog from the bottom of the heart

    Zeev.

  • @ZeevRoizman Thank you for the comments,

I will work on it immediately :)

let me work on the Wagner a bit first. :)

    Thank you,

    Big Dog Deuce

  • Users should note that the 'v' in 'wieviel' is pronounced as an 'f', not as a 'v' as in this video and some of the 'o' vowels are americanised.

  • @LeonConrad

You know....you are correct . Thank you for pointing that out. Sometimes my German "v"s come out with not enough "f"

    Thanks,

    Big Dog Deuce

The same goes for your "z"'s , by the way, such as in "entzunden", or "Seufzer". There almost needs to be some spitting side effect, haha. Otherwise, your pronounciation is very good for a foreign speaker, though some vowel pronounciations are somewhat off.

  • Thank you so much! I love this song, I want to sing it one day.

  • Your diction tutorials have been very helpful to me. Any chance you could do one for Schubert's Seligkeit? I want to learn that piece too, and it seems to be pretty popular here as well.
