It is real, but it's not a diamond plated card....

It's a reverse holographic card in the WOTC set, Legendary Collection. That's WOTC first attempt at making reverse holographics, which they then changed into the mirror like reverse holographics for the remainder of their set productions. Once Nintendo took over, they made a similar reverse holographic to the ones seen in Expedition or Skyridge, but Legendary collection was the only one to feature that.
