  • hi sensei ,

it ´s a good technique ,simple and easy to unterstand ! you have many new students ... this is a good sign that interests people for your aikido style !

i wish you a good time

    greetings andi

  • Thank you Andi. My best to you. Peace!

  • Thank you for such a clear and precise examples, with respect, does being taller have a slight advantage?

  • Your welcome. Yes being taller helps me in most things I do. I do Wing Chun as well and I have the reach over most people. So yes being tall helps me. But being short does not make you and less able to do these things.

  • very nice friend, and very clear,

  • Thank you very much Trevor. Have a great day bro. Peace!

    five stars!

always clear teachings and useful tecniques!thx for posting my friend!

  • Thank you my dear friend. I hope you are well bro. Take care! Peace!

  • I really like the slow-mo also. That helps.

Definitely a technique Uke has to be careful with. Turning your head is very important... Good way to get popped in the face if you don't. But, that's the intent of this technique... make 'em flinch, and keep them going in the direction of their flinch...

... They could choose not to flinch... but turns out that hurts.

  • Thanks for your input as well dasgregorian. And your view as well. My best to you and yours. Peace!

  • 5*. Another great video and good coverage of the technique. You are right about the smaller nage bringing his attacker down to his range. I 'm only 5' 9 and I would extend my partners who were over 6 foot with this technique with no trouble.

  • I was talking about a 4'10'' - 6'6'' difference....

  • Its still is the same. Look up O'Sensei and you will see he is very small and can throw around big people no prob. So can my small students.

  • Thats right man. Thanks for your input stalf5. Peace!

  • 5* My Friend..

  • Thanks brutus0199. Peace!

  • Wow, awesome!

The way you express this technique!

This is always, for me, a difficult one!

Because I want to use my strengt!

  • Keep at it and you will get it! Peace!

  • Great video!5 stars

  • Thanks so much for this. I'd really like to see an example of a tiny guy bringing down a tall guy with the same technique shown here in this video because I cant see how he could reach your throat with one hand and your middle back with the other.

  • The smaller Nage would just bring the attacker down to his range and drop him.
