Nah, I'de rather play FF6-8 & 9 than 7. Crisis Core is the ONLY good part of the FF7 universe. I have yet to play Dirge of Cerberus so I can't comment on that one.

cfw stands for custom firmware. in order to get custom firmware, you need to downgrade your psp...

you will also need a magic memory stick and a pandora battery. there are videos on youtube to show you how to get them, but there is a possibility that you could brick your psp and really fuck it up. i recommend meeting people who know how to change it and asking them for help.

the "Switch Disk" option only shows up when you have a multi-disk eboot. And you don't need 3.71 m33 to play this as long as you have popsloader and the right files for it. I have 5.oo m33-6 with popsloader and it works fine.

nah its called world's enemy from ff7 crisis core. It is a sephiroth fight though. The one from advent children is actually the black mages version of one winged angel.

PSP-Slim with the older mother board. If you recently bought a PSP slim new then ur fucked. But if you got a older one and have a friend with a hacked PSP u need to make a pandora battery and downgrade. From there upgrade using the custom M33 firmware and try it.

cindynaruto, you mean when you just want to change pops or when you are starting the next disc and making sure the pops are the same?

When you start the game on the psp, go into the Pops list (Holding R1 when starting up the game) and make sure that it is in the same Pops that is from the previous disc.

Example would be for mine for FFVII, I use 3.72 on all the discs. I always check to make sure it is saved onto it. Disc 2 should automatically have it set since the coding of the game same

WHEN IT ASKS TO SWITCH TO DISC 2, JUST "QUIT GAME" AND GO BACK TO YOUR XMB, AND START UP YOUR DISC 2 OF FINAL FANTASY VII...THERE YOU HAVE IT, YOUR SAVED DATA WILL BE ALLOWED TO LOAD UP ON THE 2ND DISC. 8)

If you's want Final Fantasy VII in your psp..it's simple!

-Custom Firmware 3.90m33+ (Just do it, the higher the firmware, the more kick ass features)

-Final Fantasy VII "EBOOT.PBP" in a folder called "FINAL FANTASY VII"

-You should have 3 folders (FFVII Disc 1, Disc 2, Disc 3) representing the different discs.

-Put them in the GAME folder.

MOST LIKELY REQUIREMENTS:

-If it goes blank screen, change your recovery to No UMD m33.

-HAS TO HAVE POPSloader! Works on 3.72 pops for me.

Okay, so I beat disc one, and using popstation GUI, I have converted Disc 2 into an EBOOT file, and put it (along with the KEYS.BIN file) in a folder called "FF7 D2" in my psp game folder. I have custom firmware(4.01 m33-2) with popsloader 3.71. The gameboot loads fine, but then I get a black screen of death and nothing happens. I can hit the "home" button and quit, but I can't play the game. Please help!

Okay, I'm having a HUGE problem. The Cutscenes don't seem to work. When you start the game, and after it says SQUARESOFT, a bow and arrow appear with Final Fantasy in the middle, and it has the credits. After the credits, it's supposed to explode. Instead of exploding, the screen goes black and after that, it shows the FF7 logo. So when I start a new game, the screen just goes black, and doesnt do shit. But the home button works, so thats how I figured out that my Cutscenes don't work. Help plz.

dude there's your problem, not having popsloader means your psp will always have a hard time loading and playing ripped psx games...

i suggest downgrading to 1.50 and going up to 3.70 m33... that's if you really wanna play ffvii...

hi I'm currently using popsloader for playing ff7. This came consist of multiple disc witch is 3. I have come to the end of disc 1 and is asking me for disc 2. popsloader suppose to give me an option saying "switch disc" however i do not have that option. as i said before make sure that you have the same game id... thats why i strongly suggest that you use icetea v1.3 to make your eboot (iso and img can be changed to an eboot file using icetea!!!) make sure to change the game id to 94163 for all the game disc... :) well you dont need to change disc 1 cause its id is already 94163 just change the id's of disc 2 and 3 okay :D

i provided a link on the description...there is a site that lets you download FFVII SCUS 94163 for free... it's a bin file so just use the ICETEA eboot converter... yeah too bad not every game has the same id, i just got lucky :)
