I made a video of 3.5 mintutes,i did it in like 2 hours.

I get back to the project library,i drag and droped the project on my desktop,i double-clicked on the project on the desktop,and it doesn't open up,and the project from the library desapeared.

What can i do.

@5005dave Search for the filename? The 'project' doesn't actually save your footage files, it saves their location on your hard disc. If you start moving any of those files around after you saved your project, then next time you try opening your work it's not gonna know where to find your stuff.

KEEP your files organised, label everything clearly, and try not to drag shit on and off the desktop unless it's junk! :D

Though imovie looks good, the time will come when every time you see a video, you can tell that it's made by imovie. In short, the limits of imovie will eventually make videos look generic. It's purely a software for beginners. I'll go for final cut pro or adobe premiere if i want professional looking videos.

Now that iphone features imovie this is great! You make it look easy however recording rights must be adhered to or your hard work may be destroyed forever. @geniusABBY My first mac was the 15-inch macbook pro about 4 years ago, and while I loved it (it still works BTW), it was not easy to carry around. It didn't fit in a lot of bags and it took up a lot of space when it did fit. My new 13 inch is much easier to bring with me everywhere I want it. If you are going to be carrying it around a lot I would suggest the 13-inch, but if you are mostly going to use it in the house I'd go for the 15-inch.

@WheresThePopcornProd there are two kinds imovies (i'm not sure if there's only two), the imovie hd and the imovie 09. in imovie hd, you can do lots of cool effect like lightning, earthquake, slow/fast/reverse, etc. and the imovie 09 is like this one in the video.
