@TheNinjanordundor It was dead mate but some ppl only leave them in for a short period (till they are asleep) and then stab them in a particular area to finish them off. You can tell when they're still alive by movement in their feelers.

@QueensIander i used to go crabbing in new jersey. we just laid traps at the bottom which was about six to eight feet deep in a lagoon right behind my grandparents house those crabs were soooooo good just boiled. you can go crabbing off of boats by tying up a piece of chicken on some line or string and use a net to grab the crabs. have fun crabbing!!
