I didn't, but then again I always grind. All pro-rpg gamers do. By my standards, you should be level 20 before the first boss, which is achievable in a day. In the sea of baus, you can run up to the lights over and over again to constantly initiate battles. No reason you can't shoot clear up to 30 that way.

Even when you are well beyond fast exp, you still get 1xp per enemy you kill (100/level) so perfectly doable.

Only thing I never understood is why is he able to take out multiple opponents in a single, normal, attack in the intro battle... but no other point in the game (barring a couple of skills you get later)

@roxasroks Yes, the beginning part is a cutscene, but you actually battle during it. Player controlled. So why should this battle allow you to swipe multiple opponents in said player-controlled battle when other battles don't?

Anyone who wanted a preview of the game would only need watch up to the start of the battle in the beginning scene to see how awesome this game is.

@roxasroks Err, duh? I HAVE completed the game before. You've completely missed what I've said. If the game is all about the Immortals regaining their abilities, how come he LOSES the ability to hit multiple opponents with a normal strike (not a skill) from the very beginning of the game?

Also, you'll note that they lost their memories LONG ago... this happens right at the start of the game/story, not the 1000 years when they lost their memories.

Haha, when I first turned it on and I was wondering which team I would control. My mind was constantly shifting between hoping I was with Khent or Uhra.

It was like, those guys are awesome, I hope im one of them!!

Then I was hoping I was a Khent, because they looked so much more badass than the Uhrans and their stupid helmets.

Then the healing towers shifted me... they are freaking cool.

Yes awesome game and it can be hard at times. But yes people I know this is a cool scene. But please stop posting this and show us how to be some of the major bosses.

One thing that bugged me in this game is that in the intro battle, you can hit multiple enemies that are grouped together in 1 large sweep of a normal attack... yet any time after that, you can't. I really missed that. Awesome game nonetheless. Can't wait till Mistwalker bring out their next RPG

is Khent a major city? isn't supposed to be higher ranking since they're up against Ghotza. If urah loses to khent, then they don't stand a fraction of a chance against ghotza

Khent is a minor place that you never actually enter in the game, only outside the gate.

It's all explained later in the game as to why Uhra is fighting Khentish soldiers. Khent itself is allied with Ghotza.
