  • brzezicki...and really the whole band just...amazing...amazing

  • better than the beatles

  • great

  • I was at this gig to see my fav band doing a free gig in my hometown does it get any better? What a great band. A happy time in my life I will always be thankfull god bless you Stuart I miss ya.............

  • not heard this one b4,its great

  • This is what genius sounds like.

    His skill reverberates, still.

  • I am a Scottish Highlander that lives in the Prairies of Canada because my heart is with my family, this song reminds me of the heart i left roaming the mountains of the best country in the world, Alba Gu brath

  • Its frightening how much I miss this band. The crowd is so happy in what was simplier times, fashion was not so prominent, you could be who you were and dance and be a spaz and love the music..... the best music ever! Two of the best at guitar and harmonizing, What i would not give to be there one more time.

  • More sweetness!

  • tell me a band that were better than Big Country live n i will show my ass in public..... great posting, my fav group of all time.........rip wee Stupot, miss ya music wee friend

  • one of my favorites-but it sure does look difficult to sing live! glad to have this version to enjoy.

  • THe seer tour was a great live set .some of the songs where fantastic live but a bit flat on the seer lp .i read somewhere i walk the hill was a song they played for a laugh because it was a piss take of them selves but it devolped into a full song

  • Its also very much faster

  • huh huh stunning

  • BC are the dog's bollock's . . .

  • I prefer the album version - I love that epic, howling guitar riff at the beginning and halfway through. It seems to be missing from the live versions, for some reason.

Massive shame about Stu Adamson. RIP. Always sad when such talented individuals feel they want to take their own lives.

  • saw big country at the brighton dome, 1986, cracking night, stuart adamson was superb, as were the rest of the guys, stuart, you are sadly missed

  • jakeprid...i have the original

email me and I will send it

  • A very special song , to me the album version is better , saw BC live three times I dont recall this on the playlist . this is one of those songs that is hard to define its perfection , if you listen to it carfully you discover tiny little guitar riffs from bruce that can be difficult to hear , amazing stuff.

  • Yes this was 1986. I went with 3 bokes from work; one was a fanclub member and got us the tickets. Drove down to Reading - snowing if I remember in a Capri!

  • Thank you for finding posting this!

  • Been a Big Country fan for most of my life and this still managed to give me goosebumps as if discovering them for the first time. Brilliant.

  • This was the first song they played live in Leisureland, Salthill Galway in Oct. 1986.

  • Amazing Band :)

  • big country rock!

  • PERFECTION !!! If anyone has this mp3 or knows where I can find it please let me know

  • I got it on my media player and its easy to get

  • Twenty-two years later, I've still heard nothing better.

  • @DrBojayGupta, absoultely agree. Best of the crop of that night (still have it on a betamax vid somewhere) had to be: Where the Rose is Sown, Inwards, Harvest Home & Fields of Fire

  • @DrBojayGupta

In another 22 years you won't have heard anything better either.

  • Another mighty BC song ....I remember this from the Belfast gig on The Seer tour...I am nearly sure this was the opener.

  • Sweeeeeet! What year was this?

  • That's great at the end, Stuart just points at his guitar to get Bruce to start playing, awesome! Great clip!

  • Afraid not - it was a signal to the roadie to change geetar for the next song - I've the gig on vhs still. Great gig great band RIP Stuey.

  • You can have your "theory" and I can have mine. I still think I am right. Just because you own the vhs doesn't mean that you are "the one who knows all about Big Country". The urgency of his pointing looked to me that he wanted Bruce to start playing, and he also motioned guitar strumming immediately after he pointed to his "geetar".

  • I dont think your right either. I'm sure Stuart had enough confidence in Bruce not to need to tell him when to play especially in a live gig like this. Two of the best interactive guitarists ever. Hicky56 is spot on.

  • I also, think it looks like as if Bruce is sleeping :) He starts playing pretty suddenly after his pointing.. All great bands do mistakes. Great song though! Gotta love the solo... BC forever

  • The Seer badly produced but still a great record.

  • great.

  • THE LEGEND WILL LIVE FOREVER!

  • Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. This one of my favorite guitar songs of all time even though I dont think they really did it justice here.

  • aaahhh!!! c'est vraiment super!!! merci ,xxAlbionxx, tu es un génial(e)...
