Don't ya hate the leg spasms in the middle of lifting yourself up? LOL I noticed this truck has the 'oh shit' handle next to the windshield. The ones that are over the top of the door are MUCH easier. I reach over with my right hand grab the 'oh shit' handle and pull myself up and into the truck. People are amazed when they realize I can pull my entire weight(180lbs) with one arm...LOL. When it's all you have left, you get strong.
@coachpegleg ,never give up man.the sell the levers to drive ur truck.if u got a stck shift then idk if anything sell it.get one u can drive.u got ur arms so its not the end yet.keep on keeping on man
Alot of guys would look at the truck and not even think of trying it. Great job. I lost one leg in an accident and they have tried to save the other but it isnt looking great right now. They have removed about half my right foot including my heel. I am not giving up but everything geared towards helping with my truck is so expensive I doubt I will ever drive my truck again.

Nice truck, who say cripples gotta drive minivans, I have a 04 F150 FX4, beena T10 para for 11 years and always drove a truck. I got a Baclofen pump to control my spazams. I maxxed out the dose on pills and it still didnt work, I have to get the pump filled about once every 5 months, depends on dose, beats taking pills all the time, battery lasts about 6 years then the pump has to be replaced, but when I got mine replace I was in and out of the hospital in 5 hrs! overnight the 1st time, worth it
now do it without being next to the kurb. aha that would be the next step. i have done that and im a t 12 para with no spasms of feeling below the hip bones. its a task and a half but it goes with one fluid motion. whabam! lol ill make a video next time im with someone with a big truck. =)
