@ray131262 Michelle was an American guitarist. Michelle married John Norum (Europe) in 1995.

Two years ago, Michelle fell into a coma as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. She died on May 21, 2008 due to a cystic growth on her brain that had restricted the oxygen and blood flow, rendering her brain-dead. She was 39 years old. Michelle had a son with John, Jake Thomas. When Michelle died, he was 3 years old!

For that reason, Europe dedicated this beautiful song to the late Michelle!

This was in memory of John Norum's wife, so I'm guessing John (guitarist) wrote the song.

You could be right, but it was Joey Tempest who wrote this song and suggested that it woud be on LLAE. Just hearing that there woud be a song dedicated to Michelle on this album made John cry, imagine how he must have felt when hearin the lyrics. This Band takes care of one another theyre one of a kind.
