@johnnystyle300 Well if you played FFX, you'd know that Tidus was simply a dream conceived by Yu Yevon, as was the Zanarkand he was from. Shuyin is the person that (and this is controversial but it's really obvious) Yu Yevon based his dream of Tidus from. But this Shuyin is a "Zanarkandian" who is in love with Lenne, who is a summoner during the Zanarkand/Bevelle war, and Shuyin takes advantage of Bevelle's weapon, "Vegnagun," but is shot down by Bevelle guards with Lenne.

@SafetysuitEnthusiast maybe it looks like it but the damage it does here seem like a scratch-when i used blitz ace to yunalesca it did 2500-3000 damage at each hit,and 4500 with the ball. and probably world champion isn't fully upgraded here.

or maybe,they made it look like it on purpose,like a reference to ffx or something like that. maybe

@nikifearsnoevil1 I was thinking it was a reference to ffx. When you level tidus up in ffx as far as I did, every hit can do well over 50,000 damage. Yunalesca was one of the most annoying bosses in the game, beat only maybe by Seymour, who just refused to die 3 times.

Wow after I killed Vegnagun I was like "Oh boy... here comes Shinyu... If I die I'll stop playing this game forever." And then came Shinyu with his 500ish and 1000ish attacks... and I used Flora Fallal MASTERED in this battle... Easiest battle in the game. Ashamed of this battle...

gameplay was fine - and imo graphics are exactly at what it should be - otherwise you end up with a game like ff 13 that puts way too much into graphics at the sacrifice of every other aspect of the game~ if graphics could be improved without sacrifices, then that would be different - but time is money, sadly.

@DannisMusicWorld This is the real Tidus, Tidus was actually a dream of the fayth and was...like an alter ego or "imitation" of Shuyin according to the storyline, I think it's very plausible what they did to continue the story, people who haven't played this just because of the ridiculous theme at the beginning are missing out a LOT.

Shuyin and Lenne look like they could've been main characters/protagonists in their own right. Who knows, maybe SE will give them they're own game, which will describe their back story more? You know, like they did with Zack in FFVII. In VII, all we knew is he looked like Cloud w/ Black hair, carried the Buster Sword before him, fought Sephiroth, and died before FFVII took place. They added more of a awesome back story for him, so maybe they will for there two as well. Likely not, but who knows?

You got the White/Black/Blue Mage/Summoner, Braska. The Samurai/Monk, Auron. And the Warrior/Time Mage, Jecht. Good set up.

Braska is likely a Mage/Summoner, like his Daughter.

We already know Aurons fighting style from FFX.

Jecht is obviously a Warrior, but likely has Time magic (Haste/Stop), as his son does.
