I know a man who drives an s550. He bought it a year after the Maybach's debut. He had wanted a Maybach, but did his research and did not like what he was reading about Maybach's reliability. Nobody who has owned a car with twelve cylinders ever wants another one. I don't think Maybachs are selling well.....particularly since Lexus has introduced virtually the same car, but with a reasonably sized hybrid engine....and for less than half the price. The rich, even Mafiosi, are not stupid.

My uncle has a Maybach 62S, and(hahaha) he always sleeps at the back. We watch tv on the 9 inch LCD Tv's and we put the movie Boogyman on and we made the back dark with the curtains and sunroof then it was REALLY scary. P.S. he got it for $687,990

for me the Maybach looks more impressive then the Phantom cause its just bigger, at least the long version of the Maybach. I think the Maybach is more "show-off" then a Phantom and thats what the customers of such cars want.
