Noel was obsessed with sequencing and album balance. They aren't even close to the same type of song.

Let me ask all of you. How on earth do you think that it is an INSULT to say that Noel has written a song that sounds as if it could have been written by some of the best songwriters in history...but wasn't...

@cndn85MB i agree with you for alot of the time, but in this song the main part "Feeling like a rolling stone" sounds exactly like the chorus to lucy in the sky with diamonds, it's blatantly identical, but whatever i could care less i love the song i'm just saying tho it does sound like it.

yea jim morrison stole from the kinks. the beatles stole from 50s artists. every great artist steals bits and pieces and makes something new out of it. oasis are the last of the great bands.

I wouldn't call it stealing. Any artist that has inspirations wants to emulate their idols/heroes. Everyone does it, you just don't see everyone getting badgered about it. Reason Oasis gets so much crap about it is that they are really damn good, and people just want to bring them down by saying they rip people off. Show me one band that is completely original.
