  • Noel is a legend

  • nobody ever noticed that it starts as mucky fingers ends?

  • LAST OASIS SONG

  • People say this sounds like the beatles and i ask them what song it sounds like and they just go quiet!!! Therefore This Is a Oasis Copying Oasis not the beatles!!! Owned!!

  • "Boooy, you've gotta carry that weeeeight!"

  • Sergent Peper's lonely heart band

  • shite song

  • this is song is so captivating, i would like have sex listening it..

  • Floyd like!!!

  • so beatlesque, still a great song though.

  • and about getting arrested, being arrogant and a prick ...... even Lennon did all that, and even Lennon wanted to be someone else, He wanted being ELVIS, and after leaving Beatles He even stated that He really didn't enjoy Beatles song that much .....

  • @upthebracket24 come on man, Liam is one of a kind whether we or anyone like it or not !!!! A legend no matter what we say !!!! He stand by its own !!!!!

  • @upthebracket24 anyway he is much better than you mate ...... so if he's a cunt, what are you ??

  • This makes my face all smile shaped. Brilliant work.

  • what a fuckind tune .... SIR NOEL.

so cant wait for the new album

    REAL MUSIC

  • @upthebracket24 Haha NOEL was lazy! He released his single only few days ago! But it's fuckin amazing

  • this would've sounded amazing live.... waiting for High Flying Birds

  • this is the fucking bollocks

  • Good, but good in an unashamedly beatlesesque kind of way ;)

  • The start of this tune is like the music from the Silent Hill game.

    Crackin tune Noel.

  • why was this not on the album, yet we were subjected to the drivel Liam, Andy and Gem write???

Cant wait for Oct 17th and Noels album,

  • sounds a bit like blur ironicly, still amazing

  • almost a hey jude toward the end

  • lyrics are pretty lame," i'm the apple of my eye" straight off the album itself i too believe that Noel has the potential to make an amazing album and i would love to see a direction like the falling down amphorous remix but he better be good at sesoring his own lyrics becuase this is not to impressive the best thing i have heard from later years was falling down and actually can you see it now.

  • @mry75 what the fuck ?" the apple in someone's eye" is a reference from the Bible. I see you are having a hard time to think, which is not even funny enough to make worthless statements like this. The lyrics are perfect, considering the name of the song. Pretty lame comment.

  • @izvunzemen My comment was in reference to the fact that he used a similar lyric on the album "she put an apple in my eye" from Waiting for the Rapture. In this song he sings "'i'm the apple of my eye" .

Despite where the reference came from my point was he used similarly in a song he's already written, thats all.

  • @garethfeb16 I don't think they broke up cus Liam was not writing good songs, rember Liam was not writing any songs at first and everything was fine. Plus I don't think Liam supports that his songs are better than his brother's. In my opinion they broke up cus Liam was starting to have a bad attitude and his voice was getting shitier and Noel could not stand both of these things.

  • Is this the only real B-side of Dig Out Your Soul? I've noticed the others are live versions and remixes.

  • god, why do oasis always have to sound the same? this, supersonic, gas panic. yawn! oh wait...

  • Blur+The Beatles+Pink Floyd= Those Swollen Hand Blues

  • sounds better on vinyl though

  • 0:31 ending of "mucky fingers'

  • @irporn Cunt a was going to say that

  • noel's solo album is gonna knock your beady eyes out!

  • @petespectrum we're not sure till we can hear it all ..... let's wait patiently ......

  • @petespectrum This is an Oasis song. Why're you even bring Beady eye and Noel into this? Liam and Noel are both equally great, if you were a real Oasis fan you'd support them both.

  • @petespectrum It didn't! Maybe just a little tiny bit.

  • I think GDFullOn Made a bit sense there.. But Im not sure about nothing, doesn matter

I find it's very epic that this was their last song ever :DD

Crazy, and classic, to me at least

  • The Beatles of "Magical Mystery Tour"... Only Oasis have permission to do it!

  • love this song, but to me its more of a 'The Real People-Rolling Stone' rip of than the beastles

  • If ONE more person says something about The Beatles on an oasis track I will saw off my arm, strip out one of my arteries and hang myself with it.

  • @shakermaker508 You know, The Beatles... ;)

  • @shakermaker508 O.O Can I watch?

  • I am getting ready to release my edit of how the song was supposed to be......a part of Mucky Fingers. This song was supposed to be on Don't Believe The Truth.

  • @importking69 I thought it was supposed to be a B-side because Noel originally wanted the MF to be a single but the record company convinced him to put out Lyla as the single instead.

  • @GDFullOn There is some truth to that. Noel wanted MF to be the first single. When Oasis presented their album to Sony, they said it was crap and they wanted something really catchy. So Noel went back and wrote Lyla so Sony would shut up. At the same time, they moved some things around on the album. Those Swollen Hand Blues was taken out and Lyla was put in its place.

  • @importking69 I don't believe that. Noel has never talked about TSHB to my knowledge. It doesn't make a lot of sense your way though. There is no cross-fading on any of the other tracks on that album. Why would MF and TSHB be the ONLY crossfaded tracks? And why would a song like Lyla have replaced a song like TSHB. Noel was obsessed with sequencing and album balance. They aren't even close to the same type of song.

I think it was supposed to be a B-side to MF. Only thing that make sense

  • Is becaming my favourite song by noel ;DD

  • this song is life changing!

  • @frogface525 hey what's up Liam? Haha this is funny. Ya i know this song really is amazing.

  • @WhimseyProductions hey man isn't this song just flat out nuts!

  • I think it sounds like noel gallagher...

  • This is a Beatles like song and its brilliant!!! John Lennon would be proud in my opinion. Oasis will LIVE FOREVER!!!

  • last on dig out your soul woulda been good

  • I can hear this song at the end of MUCKY FINGERS!

  • @kazanekuwahara The song at the end of mucky fingers is Stop the clocks...

  • @EilesD ...nope Kazanekuwahara is right its this song.

  • @ledlunar Right, you can hear Stop The Clocks in "I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine"

  • Love the beginning, but the rest of the song is just boring. Hope Noel's solo album isn't all like this otherwise I don't think he'll do that well as a solo artist.

I'm far more interested in the Beady Eye album tbh.

  • you wanna know somthing, it dont sound beatles at all... if anything, it sounds like Ossy Osborne.

  • This is why i love oasis, a song that will never reach the maintstream, but all of oasis' closest fans will love, and have it for themselves!!!!

  • the last oasis song anyone ever heard.

    great definitive song.

  • No te pases, excelente rola, "...Feeling like a rolling Stone, playing the guitar on my own...." It's a MEGA!

  • Liam Gallagher believes his new band Beady Eye will be bigger than Oasis

  • @FunLovingCriminals77

That's what he said, yes. But do you honestly believe that he means it? ;)

  • @Mue7 you know he does

  • @FunLovingCriminals77

No. After releasing an album he always said that it's up there with Definitely Maybe. I think it's all just promotion for the album.

Would be stupid to say that Beady Eye isn't as good as Oasis. At least it would be bad promo ;)

  • @Mue7 yeah I alway like the attitude oasis had saying were the biggest band in the world

thats swagger thats rock n roll

  • OMG!

  • i start my day off at work listening to this

  • great band, great song!

  • immense

  • comparing oasis songs to bealtes songs is boring since years, but so many think that they can do it.

  • this song is also 4 chords. hahahahah

  • Amazing Beatlesesc Song

  • This is a really good song, but if it had been recorded during the Definitely Maybe sessions - or even the (WTS)MG sessions - it definitely would have rocked more...with feedback, guitar licks, and better drumming.

  • fucking ace tune!

    a testament to their greatness.

putting out a b-side most bands would kill to have as an a-side. so typical of them.

    still mad fer it!!

  • oasis got better and better. i know songs like "Whatever" were great commercial britpop songs but this is just pure music!

  • Wow this sounds so much as a Pink Floyd-Barrett era song,I love it,specially that Pink Floyd is my Eternal favourite band,I love them!

  • Very Beatles, Fucking amazing

  • Love that whistle mid-song!

  • Very Beatles

  • If this song was released in 1994, this coulda been on Definetily Maybe or (WTS) Morning Glory.

  • great bside like all of them oasis are untouchable

  • its sounds abit like The Beatles

  • It reminds me strongly of Barrett-era Floyd. And McCartney-like Beatles-psychedelia (Abbey Road era).

  • Comment removed

  • o here we go? you know how i feel after reading your recycled comments from10 years ago then. Atleast have somthing original to say. mum jokes?? did u steel that from an eddie murphy d.v.d. moron

  • Haha

  • Comment removed

  • how many times have people said that? fucking hell change the record, you either lke it or not, if you dont, fuck off and listen to razorlight you faggot

  • i definitely feel that this had to be a b-side cause of as mentioned, the writing of two brothers became so diffirent.

i think Liam wouldn't like this song on the album.

  • physcadelic mo fo tune

  • Beatles + Pink Floyd=Those Swollen Hand Blues =P

  • I'm tired of all Bsides being under appreciated

  • use for teaching purposes...lol

  • Definitely influenced by early Pink Floyd.

  • the title of the track came from lyrics of a pink floyd song 'nobodys home'

  • Oh right, never knew that!!

  • Shows the Beatles inspiration of Noel

  • this is one of the reasons oasis split! noel and liam writing became too different! noel is writing stuff like this and liam is into his three chords rock! i love liams work but he is 15 years behind noel!!!

  • @Garethfeb16 that song only has four chords in it

  • @Garethfeb16 couldn't have said it better myself.

  • @Garethfeb16 You're not right mate. Liam wanted to do songs like this. Noel was "BOSS" ... like a dictator

  • @Garethfeb16 Could not disagree more mate. That is all

  • @Garethfeb16 this a two chord song mate

  • @themadtonic so what lol?

  • Comment removed

  • definitely shoulda been on dig out your soul mega

  • this song could have easily been in a Beatles album, and noel knows it

    oasis live forever

  • should have been on dig out your soul

  • LMAO the pic from abut 2:08...Gem looks sooooooooo damn young, i never saw gem like that b4

  • especially if you know that gem is older than noel by one year i think :P

  • Efige snagit :P

  • I agree with Partoftheratpack Noel won't be as good as Oasis... Oasis spirit is everything!!!

  • The thing I'll miss most is all the flair that went with Oasis, Liam's cockiness and Noels chill attitude.. the big shows and rock songs, I think Noel will be every BIT as good.. itll just be different..

  • Yeah....

  • espectacular!!!

  • Think if Noel does do Solo this will be the sort of stuff he'll put out. Really though - hope Oasis get back together after a long break. Right now though I just can't see Noel releasing anything solo, just think he'll dissappear.

  • i would LOVE it if a NG solo album sounded like the first minute of this! not sure about the roller coaster lyric ... ? who am i though! love NG!

  • I don't think so, music is in the man's blood. I'll be very interested to see if Liam, Gem, and Andy release an album together. I think it would be great, possibly a throw back to Definitely Maybe. Noel would be massive if he went solo.

  • wait my friend. it will be much better then you think

  • Pink Floyd meets the Beatles. Awesome.

  • i actually enjoy this tune a lot.

  • They'll get back together saying we'll always be oasis that's the end of it. we fite but we get back together.

  • I dunno why oasis are always stereotyped to sounding like the beeatles this is first time i have seen a hint of it I have always thought oasis sound more like slade and T-rex than they do the beatles?!!?!??!!?!?!?!? R.I.P Oasis u will be missed

    x

  • I can hear it in She's Electric and Digsy's Dinner, but that's just because they crafted great pop songs.

  • yeah, ive always thought they sound like t-rex and slade aswell. but this does sound so fucking beatle-esque

  • The end of Oasis, Noel went out strong, amazing song!

  • COME BACK ¡¡¡

  • RIP OASIS

  • oasis will always be remembered

  • I reckon Noel is getting bored with oasis, a solo album shouldnt be too far off.

  • this should have been a hidden song on the album

  • Oasis are still keepin their best tracks as B-sides lol why do they do that?

  • Why is this my first time hearing this song? Amazing :)

  • Totally Beatles!!!

  • The Floyd

  • sounds a bit ffloyd, a bit beatles, the beginning sounds like blur

  • Blur?! Wash your mouth out young man! lol

  • To me this sounds more like early sid barrett floyd than the beatles top tune!!!

  • It's not so hard to write songs like the beatles (except the psychedelic stuff), because they were so simple and direct...

  • na i honestly dont think either of them do, maybe its just me like but when i think why they remind me of the beatles, its just because people always say they are like the beatles. anyway this is a tune. actually songbird and she is love sound a bit like beatles.

  • this is the first beatle soundin oasis song i have ever heard. they never have sounded like them b4, this sounds like nothing oasis have ever done, but alot like the beatles. ppl hu say oasis r beatles rip-off, are ignorant and haven't listened properly or alot to either of them. this song is amazing

  • all around the world doesnt sound like the beatles?

falling down as well. loads of oasis songs sound like the beatles. ironically not the early stuff doesnt sound anywhere near as beatles-like

  • This sounds more like Pink Floyd than Beatles. The first Oasis was more beatle-like

  • Sounds like the Verve

  • Yes that's true... i didn't thought the verve but when i saw your comment...I realise that's almost like The Verve But stil it's OASIS they are godlike :P

  • this would of been ace on the end of mucky fingers can you imagine how good it would of been if it was then released as a single?

  • I'd say that this song is more Pink Flyodish than Beatlesish.

It's quite an odd song, you don't really know where it's going and how it'll end. It's a great little song though! Quite experimental for Oasis.

  • this is the most beatleish oasis song ever.

  • exactly what i was thinkin :)

  • Masterplan 2 & 3 are well overdue.Oasis could do a b side concert it would be just as good.

  • No it won't be as good it will be better :) Most b-sides are AWSOME some of them better than signles ...

  • Not their best.

  • I love that people say..."It sounds like the Beatles" But then it doesn't sound like any EXISTING Beatle song. So they say..."but it sounds like it COULD have been written by the Beatles"

Let me ask all of you. How on earth do you think that it is an INSULT to say that Noel has written a song that sounds as if it could have been written by some of the best songwriters in history...but wasn't...

It's actually kind of a complement.

  • @cndn85MB i agree with you for alot of the time, but in this song the main part "Feeling like a rolling stone" sounds exactly like the chorus to lucy in the sky with diamonds, it's blatantly identical, but whatever i could care less i love the song i'm just saying tho it does sound like it.

  • @pegger18636 i actually like finding bits of the songs tht sound like others it turns me onto a lot of new music cus u no your guna love it if you like the song tht uses it :P

  • @cndn85MB lucy in the sky

  • yea jim morrison stole from the kinks. the beatles stole from 50s artists. every great artist steals bits and pieces and makes something new out of it. oasis are the last of the great bands.

  • I wouldn't call it stealing. Any artist that has inspirations wants to emulate their idols/heroes. Everyone does it, you just don't see everyone getting badgered about it. Reason Oasis gets so much crap about it is that they are really damn good, and people just want to bring them down by saying they rip people off. Show me one band that is completely original.

  • exactly!!! ppl are jealous of them

  • I hear the Beatles truly. Go Noel go!! Oasis are reaching their rebirth!

  • I think Oasis has at least one other masterpiece in them.

  • sounds like OASIS ;)

  • reminds me a lot of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds by The Beatles in the way it progresses.

  • I think what you are hearing is the production...which is in a similar vein.

  • finally, a b-side that isn't a remix!

  • Comment removed

  • goodish tune

  • omg!!!!! nlisten to 2:12 !!!!

even the same drum fill to carry that weight

i guess if anyone is going to take on of ringo's drum fill it might as well be his son

  • nobody writes and records music like this anymore!

  • Okay guys, the man was effin brought up on the Beatles, lay off, its his inspirations, he's not sitting down listening to Beatles tracks and sayin "hey ill copy this one today.."

  • shut up

    dumbass

    you don't know shit

    you don't know that

and no one said there is anything wrong with it, were just pointing it out

  • Hey mate, I'm just saying what Noel said, think it mighta been in his latest Q Mag interview.

  • sounds like anything better you've written la
