  • Is there a thinkpad model with a touchscreen? So i can use it like a notebook. And would you reccommend me buying the system with an ssd drive, I think that long term use of those disks will eventually reduce their read/write speeds?.

    thakns

  • I think the t420 is a better option for a college student though

  • @2fast4uspartan I would like to know why do you believe the t420 is a better option for college too

  • It's not a standard keyboard, the Insert key should be above the Delete key. Pretty annoying, this will cause the user to often accidentally press the Delete key when trying to do a Shift Insert of other Insert combo. STUPID, Lenovo, why???

  • Your video is a favorite on Hanoi

  • Thank you Duckfart12, that bothered me lol

  • It's not Expresscard 34, it's 54. Also, like others have mentioned, the standard 6 cell battery isn't rated anywhere close to 15 hours (and together with the battery slice doesn't give you 24 hours), and the display is 12.5", not 12.1". When the reviewers make multiple mistakes like these, it really makes one wonder if he really knows what he is talking about, and ultimately makes this review much less useful.

  • ....i have a mac :)

  • why do they have to add spammy bullshit like a "thinkvantage" key. This is why Apple cleans up :/

  • Does this guy realize an "o" is a letter? It's 2.0.... not 2.o

  • its not usb 2 dot 0, its usb 2 point 0

its not pointer stick, its trackpoint or pointING stick

its not mouse pad, its either clickpad, trackpad or touchpad

fuck you are stupid, go learn your terminologies before making reviews

  • @ifuckednatalietran From your comment I can deduct that you understood what he said perfectly. So why bitch .................?

  • my current battery in my T43 just last for about 40 minutes :(

  • Also the yellow one is USB3.0 and not 2.0

  • @schizosayso actually it is not. The USB 3.0 port is only available with the i7 processor and is located on the usb port closest to the CPU vent. I know this because I have one.

  • Pretty neat! I am thinking of buying the macbook pro 13 inch but I want this now, sadly its not available in my region of the world right now . . . also, no HDMI as I understand it?

  • oow its cool

  • Does the slice battery come with the order? Or do you have to order it separately?

  • Comment removed

  • just bought one with ssd, ips panel, i5 <3

  • Fuck I want one so bad

  • Quick pointer - You're not getting 15 hours with the standard battery as mentioned, unless it's with the slice. 6cell is ~ 8 hours, 9cell apparently ~12hours.

  • Unboxing video sucks !!! what's next Fedex delivery video of the box before unboxing ?

The review of the product is ok

  • the standard battery lasts 15 hours? no way

  • What is the size of the packaging?

  • It bugs me when he says 2 "dot" 0. It's 2 "point" 0.

  • @JITT3RY It can be either. Doesn't really matter. That's not really a dot or a point, it's a period :)

  • Not a 12.1" it's 12.5".

Also the standard batter is the 6 cell and not rated at 15hrs, thats the 9 cell.

  • Not a 12.1" it's 12.5"

  • when does it come out in the uk? the us lenovo site has this but the uk one doesn't

  • @MainlyFlames It is not on the US website =/

  • A display port for the X series, about damned time.

  • The flap at the bottom of the battery slice can be opened so you can dock it without removing the slice.

  • Gah, I just want a goddamn Thinkpad.

  • we all know battery life specifications are misleading. did you personally test it and get a run time of 15hrs on std battery? If not, please do.

  • @lanreudu go read the engadget review. They managed 8 hours with the standard battery

  • @verygoodbrother thanks for the tip

  • @verygoodbrother Or don't read the engadget review if you want a realistic comparison.

  • @WhisperInTheWind9000 then mobiletechreview(.)com

  • Could you post a source for the statement, that the X220 is military tested?

It would be a reason for me to buy it, if it is "immune" to dust, physical shocks, heat, ...

  • @afuerst89 It is mil-spec tested as stated on lenovo's website.

  • . 真鸡巴宽下面的日你老母

  • so does the 9 cell battery (15 hr) stick out the back like it did on the x201?

  • @Dan48p Yes, it does.

  • kick ass

  • Pretty bulky. Not too convinced to get it. My old lenovo I think was skinnier grated it did not have the hd space and proccessor this one has.

  • it's not 12.1 it's 12.5"

  • @taptapirful Nope, its 12.5".

  • Very good review

  • 23 HOURS BATTERY LIFE!!! Awsome!
