I know this sounds crazy... but I like to be a fashion designer for purses & handbags.. & I'm on my second one. my favorite accessory are purses & handbags. But the only thing is... is that I'm disabled that has only one use of one hand. So, how could I do this. ask someone to help me or go to school. We can't afford it so school is out LOL

You can get a refurbished brother machine for $50 that does more than enough stitches. You will only ever use a handful of stitches, the rest are just for decoration.

I attend the academy of art. I am an interior architecture and design major. I take my classes online. It is the hardest university i have ever attended. i just finished my first semester and learned MORE than i have every in my life. Look into it. The design school is AMAZING!

don't waste your time with FIDM... just take one or two courses... its expensive for nothing... dont stress over the entrance project, they will take whatever so long as it doesnt look like a 5th grader did it... and im sure your work is above and beyond! girl, you already know the basics... just get an investor and go for it! take care! =D

cool beans. my girl friend went to AI of Portland, OR and graduated two years ago and she's amazing I love the quality of her garments she's made for me. their gorgeous and so customized to fit me like a glove. that's awesome the you are pursuing your dream.

Fabulous video and the book is amazing. I make file books too with magazine pages as inspiration for my jewellery designs. Just colours on a page will give me ideas... Love everything design. Dulce you are the best... I have watched your videos for months...

i live in uk/london n i got 2 brother machines n its sooooooooooooo good n im in my early teens n my 1 come swith all of the editions of that book its 14 edititions n i can sew a jaket to a sock - - or is it the other wat round

Oh, I know how to sketch. I draw designs over and over IDK why. I want to be a fashion designer because some of the clothes they have for girls and kids are just sometimes really ugly! So I want to add style for little kids and kids ages 5-15

thank you girl! I keep telling people in my school what fashion is all about because I live in a preppy suburban area where everyone plays a sport...(not me!). And over the years they have realized from my style that they just don't have to do sweat pants. You have the best videos and i am going to mention you in my next vid! Love ya! _MandMbeaty :))

hiya i got a sewing machine but i dont know how to work it up, i tried the instrutions but you know that never helped and none of my friends ever sewed befor so if you could do a tutorial on how to like threat the machine. that would help. x
