  • Thank you for sharing....God bless you!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video, dear brother. It helps us to know more of God´s love. God wants all of us to be saved, that´s why He gave us the Bible for us to follow.

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. King James Version Bible

  • Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

The word here "Rest" in the original greek means to be "Keeping a Sabbath"

    G4520

    σαββατισμός

    sabbatismos

    sab-bat-is-mos'

From a derivative of G4521; a “sabbatism”, that is, (figuratively) the repose of Christianity (as a type of heaven): - rest.

So it Remains a Sabbath to the people of God. I choose His day. Some choose a day man created. Choose this day whom you shall serve.

  • wonderfull

  • Guess which one of the 10 commandments is NOT repeated in the New Testament?

Does that mean it’s not relevant to Christians?

  • @IDH77 Thou Shalt not use the Lords name in Vain.

  • @gthang5555 Wrong sorry but it’s the Sabbath Law!

The Saturday Sabbath is for the Jews only! In fact Jesus is our Sabbath, Sunday is the Lord’s Day.

That is the only one not repeated in the NT. The food laws were repealed in Acts and the explanation of why the Temple Laws were repealed in Hebrews.

  • @IDH77 The only commandment not mentioned in the New Testament is the 3rd, Thou Shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

  • @gthang5555 Sorry I should have been more specific, I should have said either quoted or inferred.

You're quite right that its not directly quoted but it is strongly inferred in John 8:57-59 where the name of Good is given prominence.

However the Sabbath Law is nowhere given to Christians to follow.

  • @IDH77 No friend, it is not inferred. It is not in the New Testament. All of the Commandments are mentioned except the 3rd. Unless you're Catholic, then it is the 2nd Commandment.

  • @gthang5555 Are you saying it’s not important? Didn’t you read John 8:57-59?

By the way I'm not RC.

  • @IDH77 All of God's Commandments are important. Not just the 9 that are mentioned in the New Testament.

Yes I read you scripture, Taking the name of God is blasphemy and breaks the 1st Commandment more so then the 3rd. The 3rd commandment is not in the New Testament. Of course it is taught in the New Testament (though I cannot say where) but those of us that know the Bible know that all of the commandments are strengthened and taught throughout the scriptures for those that seek the truth.

  • @gthang5555 Every commandment is there Chec out Mark Woodman God Final Call very obvious they are ALL THERE.

  • @1struthalways What is the scripture?

  • @gthang5555 No you are mistaken it is there. Check my pic is is right there

  • @IDH77 Matt.22:37-40 Jesus told the lawyer when he inquired about the great commdmt in the law,Jesus reply,Love the Lord with all your heart, and love your neighbour etc.On these two commdmts hang ALL the LAW and the PROPHETS.Que.did the prophets proclaim and teach the 10 commdmts. YES, so the first 4 commdmts is love to God,if you love HIM you will want to please HIM and not take HIS NAME IN VAIN, the last 6 commdmts is love toward your fellowmen,so Jesus is saying that ALL TEN must be obeyed.

  • @SeventhDayAudio So lets just ignore the fact that Deut 5:3 completely contradicts what you said?

There is no command in the NT for Christians to follow the Sabbath.

You're free to do what you like just don’t make it a commandment of God to Christians.

Rom 1:1-12 If Paul believed that the Sabbath was incumbent then he would have mentioned it here!

Historically the early gentile Christians worshipped on a Sunday. All you need to do is read the Ante Nicene Fathers.

  • @IDH77 I've sent you something privately to read.

  • @IDH77 They did so as an answer to the roman anti Sabbath edict until then they kept the Sabbath.

  • @IDH77 DON'T count on it !!!

  • @IDH77 ...John says....Commandments of God 3 times in Rev. Do you think he only means a couple? lol

  • @vachief See my reply above. The SDA's are wrong on the Sabbath issue.

  • @IDH77 ...I'm not an SDA, but they are in fact correct about the Sabbath.

  • @IDH77 Nowhere in scripture was sabbath for Jews only, sabbath was at creation.Ecc.12:13,Fear God and keep His commdmts for this is the whole duty of man(kind).1 John.2:4-He that says I know Him,and keep not his commdmts is a liar etc.1 John 5:3-For this is the love of God,that we keep His commdmts and they are not grievous.Jam 2:10-For whosoever shall keep the whole law,yet offend in ONE POINT,he is GUILTY OF ALL. also see Jam 1:23-25.The law is the will of God,Grace is the power of God to-Pt.1

  • @SeventhDayAudio The reality is that before Sinai NOBODY was commanded to keep the Sabbath!

Deuteronomy 5:3 NKJV The LORD did NOT make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.

Just as the food laws have been repealed so has the Sabbath law. Paul only mentions the Sabbath once directly in Col 2:16.

Historically the early church didn’t follow the Sabbath but worshipped on the Lord’s Day Sunday.

  • @IDH77 I'm certain that the sabbath was kept by the patriarchs before Sinai,Ex.4:4-5 Pharaoh said, behold the people ae many and ye make them rest from their burdens, that was talking about sabbath rest.Ex.16:22-23 this was about the MANNA,none to be collected on sabbath.Gen 18:19 talking of Abraham, for I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord,to do justice and judgement etc.Gen 26:5,Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, Pt.1

  • @IDH77 Pt.2 and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes and laws. so I'm very sure that even before the flood God's people knew about the sabbath and kept God's commandments.

  • @IDH77 Pt.2 keep His law. Sin is the violation of the Commandments. Romans 3:20 last part, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Rom.4:15 last part, for where no law is there is no transgression. Jesus came to Magnify His law, He kept it Himself as an example for us to follow. Matt.5:18-19 Jesus did not come to destroy the law, 19, whosoever shall break one of these least commandmts (question, which one is the lease?) and teach men to do so etc. Commandts are a transcript of God's nature.

  • @SeventhDayAudio Another error that many hold is that the Church of Jesus Christ and Israel are synonymous when in fact they are two discrete entities.

According to Eph 2:15 the church is the ‘One New Man’ made up of Jew and gentile so Israel cannot be the church.

So not all the commandments in the OT are incumbent on the Christian.

  • @IDH77 Sunday was never and never will be the Lords Day. Eph.2:15 is NOT talking about the TEN COMMDMTS, but the law contained in ordinances,sacrificial/ceremonial laws, which was abolished. In the new earth we WILL STILL KEEP the seventh day sabbath, Isa 66:22-23.The first day of the week is Rome's Authority that they changed the sabbath,Matt.15:9-In vain do they worship me teaching for doctrine commandts of men.Acts 5:29- We ought to obey God rather then men.The seventh day contains God's SEAL

  • @SeventhDayAudio Bravo Seventh Day Audio This is the way he helped me understand perhapts this will help @IDH77 1john 3:4 is clear that sin is the transgression of the law and gensis 3 makes it clear that there was a law in the garden, the ten was in place before the law was broken or it could not have been broken. The book of the law which was place on the outside of the ark as a witness against us. The ten was in the ark, the book was the law nailed in Eph 2:15 that pointed >

  • @SeventhDayAudio @IDH77 to the Lamb to come..so when he came it was abolished, that law was temporary conditional on the sacrifice of the lamb. The ten laws of love the royal law was eternal and before sin the other given because of and a solution to the condition of the infection of sin, it was a salve and a bandage if you like till the messiah.
