Good score picking up the Jan Hellriegel album for $2. Were you buying locally before the quake. Whenever I visited ChCh Galaxy Records was always a must. There's some more great NZ vinyl just released or coming up like David Kilgour, Grand Rapids. Good to see you posting vids again.
@WaihekeRecords Yeah I ended up buying two of them and sold one for $30, so more money for vinyl. Yeah! I buy locally. Galaxy is good. I like Penny Lane the best and it's the only one still open so thats good. Hopefully Galaxy will open again somewhere soon. It's always good to have some options. I also grab the odd LP off fishpond and amazon if I can't find it locally.
I'm eager to grab the new Kilgour album. Still haven't had a listen to Street Chants to see if they are worth all the fuss.
Welcome back, Ki. Sorry to hear about the earthquake and all the associated problems. Glad you're okay. I really like The National's High Violet. One of my favorites of 2010.
The Baby Huey Story is great! And cookbook picture is so funny, I prefer it to the front one :P
