There was a TV show on Discovery Channel, "Th best 10 Tanks in the world. The M1 Abrams was 2nd. The Leopard 2 was 1st! You are not in the position to question what the experts decided. You guys have good equipment, but you don't have all the best equipment.

Germans engineered and produced the first ever jet fighter aircraft, again thankfully, Hitler wasn't interested. Germany came out with so many things before the U.S. thought about it. I think the F-35 will be better for ground support then the F-22. Th F-16 and F-18 are multirole so this is the reason that thy have multiple uses.
