Time to set the record straight. I have seen this girl. Believe me, she can play. In the offseason she goes to a gym in Phoenix where she is usually the only female there and she definitely holds her own against adult men. In the video she is 15, as of January 2011 she is 19. She now plays at Azusa Pacific University. In high school she set several three-point shooting records and won the Arizona state three-point shooting championship. any one has played basketball for high school knows we all get that good we we set and shot. you just shoot so much at practice that it becomes second nature. The real test is can you be good like that when you are lead and shoot in a real game. Thats where the cream rises. Good Luck!

I used to shoot from the chest like that to up until 8th grade. Somebody told me to change my shot so the release would be higher. I didn't listen because i was successfull at shooting that way. When i started playing bigger and older players in high school, I started getting blocked more often. That's when i changed my shot to release it higher. it took two years to get back to the success rate i had before.

it's really quite simple- any good shooter will be able to sink 10 hoops consecutively, just not ALL THE TIME. how do they achieve this? they leave the camera running, until she manages to do 10 in a row, and then cut out that footage and use it!

and her form is great. the quicker the release, the more useful in game

Very impressive especially for a girl but if she can make 3 pointers with ease then she might want to step further out behind the 3 point line and work on her range. Thats what I did when eventually regular length 3 pointers became so easy for me, now I can shoot nba range (not a lie). But very impressive nonetheless.
