They had to remove it in the re-release US version because of copy write bullshit.. (as well as lot of stage music/character themes).. which sucked :(

@CarmenMCS Unfortunately, no. The description shows that these endings from the Cross Generation of Hereos version were removed from the Ultimate All-Stars Edition. So no movie based endings for the newer characters.

@static42100 It is sad but something we just have to accept. There probably wasn't enough space for them to add them. Afterall, they did add in more characters in the US release (minus one Tatsunoko character due to licensing issues) so that means more data had to be put in.

As good as these animated segments are, the new endings are pretty great too.

@FusionSax10 Well at the same time it does not matter to me there both equal but the us version has added characters a online mode and improved graphics the Japanese version has 1 character that was cut from the us version and video endings and not jest text and more voice samples like in the menu but other then that both games have the same character voices besides frank west but the us version has some English added to it like in the character select and that's about it

Morrigan playing a video game- the same console the player is PLAYING- kills it for me...that and she's supposed to be a vampire and the Darkstalkers series is supposed to have (by all indications) taken place hundreds of years ago...ugh.

It isn't the only ending that bugs me, but it sticks out. Overall, it is like watching episodes of Pokemon from 10+ years ago.

...But any ending beats Marvel Vs. Capcom 2's horrible non-ending!
