Nataliery27...perhaps try pulling the styler through your hair slower...and make sure you turn it 180 degrees otherwise it won't curl.

you also need to curl it round your fingers (in the direction of the curl) to give the curl body...otherwise it'll just flick :)

It takes me around 30 minutes to curl my hair completely and my hair is average thickness and fairly long :)

i have the ghd rare and it really works ! it has taken me some time to learn how i can make this wonderfull curls but now i'm an expert :P i love ghd <3 (when you make courl take just a little part of your hair...not a bog...because when you take to much hair in one curl it diesen*t work and it looks frizzi and not good.)

I cant do this =/ i have ghds and i try and i try but my hair just turns out flicked and werid and then doesnt straighten down again properly

mayb you r not turning it the right way to curl, or try the ghd heat spray first.

it took me ages to figure out how to make ringlets!

have you tried it with a volume spray? are you going really slow with it? I used to grip really hard and that was where i went wrong. i needed very tiny sections as my hair is thick and to go very slowly so the heat could take effect.

i've been practicing. don't grab too much hair or not enough. about an inch in width. i've been told the bottom of the ghd (where the cord is) should face ceiling. so clamp your hair with the ghd upside down. twist the straightener in towards your hair and just pull out. it should work.

Hi there... I also had the same issues as you guys... check out my profile pic.. thats me now I have mastered it... PROBLEM CURLS... Its becoz your turning the straightner towards the ground rather than towards the cieling... Your hair when placed in the straightner should point UP.. on the turn not Go DOWN in the turn? Hope this makes sence.. I had the exact problem and went to my stylist and asked how.. If you keep having issues GO to the place u bought it & ask them how to. GOOD LUCK

i just got some ghd's for christmaas and they are not that easy to use.

they get really really hot, really fast so becareful ! xx

oh they are not that bad. you get used to using them. its much much better than other brands that need about 5 minutes to heat up and even then you have to go over the same section to get it straight. ghd's are the best! AND they are so versatile :)
