  • I have spent in Ljubljana 6 months. I was there on Erasmus programme and it was the best decision togo there.

I simply felt in love in this city.

I hope to come back to this city for forever!

  • @buttlamo thank you!!!! grettings from Slovenia !!!!

  • For thoose who think that Slovenia is poor, its in the top 30 most developed countries in the world! The most developed slavic country (more developed than Czech, Slovakia, Poland, etc.). If you still think that Slovenia is poor, well come and visit it and you will have a diffrent opinion ;)

  • I was in Ljubljana last week with some American and Norwegian friends. It's a fantastic city. Not too big; not too small; the capital of a country big enough to have sun-drenched Venetian seaside towns and snowy Alpine vistas. Who can't love the Ljubljana cafe culture, the markets, and the laid back attitude of the Slovenes? As someone who's traveled around the Balkans, it's very fortunate Slovenia avoided what happened elsewhere in old Yugoslavia. I'm already looking for ways to go back!

  • Janezi spremite se, u oktobru stizu bivsa braca iz Srbije :))

  • what are the women here like? easy? hard to get? materialistic? honest? i mean the ones in their 20's and early 30'ies.

  • @beswick1111

    Like everywhere else.

  • @croguy what would happen if you showed a hot ljubjana girl that makes say $300/wk serving coffee a 500 Euro note, and i told her i wanna take her shopping, would she go out with me??

  • @beswick1111

You can find gold diggers anywhere in the world. If you have to pay a girl to go out with you, you are looking for an escort service / prostitute.

  • @beswick1111 nope

  • @beswick1111 nope, not that stupid

  • @beswick1111 Listen, Slovenija is not a poor. primitive and grey ex-communist state, that people urge to get away from. So if you want a mailorder wife, go to russia or thailand.

  • It is next on our cities to visit list :) Looking forward to it

  • Slovenia has never been part of Soviet Union. It's Yugoslavia. Stop saying crap, ya all check on wikipedia about Slovenia.

And Ljubljana, you can spell it as Lyublyana, Lublana or as Germans, they say Laibach.

  • @9Euphoria austrians say laibach

  • Slovenija naaaaajleeepšaaaa

  • Ljubljana je mnogo biogatija od Skopja.

  • Yes upload HD!!

  • I don't know how to spell the name, so i look up....

  • @Ralfork You pronounce it Lubiana as it is also written in English as well. I am born Slovenian...

  • i live there almost 5 months and i love this city. Buildings, ppl, streets, the spirit of the city ! I must leave ljubljana in one month, but i hope to come back there every year. Its my second home now,

  • Pozdrav od ene priseljene Prekmurke, ki živi v Ljubljani že zeloooo dolgo. Zaljubila sem se v to mesto takoj, ko sem ga prvič obiskala ... In ostala. :)

  • It will never be perfect, but it's up to you ALL to make it better slowly!

  • Also, Europe (PERIOD) has these cliques and groups which they belong to and make other feel as outsiders.

Instead, when you meet a stranger- judge them by who they are and what they do, rather where they are from, what religion they practice or so on. Europe has come a long way, but these issues are still here today...one thing I like about America, it's a melting pot and people are respected for their individualites, character, personality, dignity, values and so on!

  • @ xpock182

yh. but when a tornado hits you. all the houses are destroyed becouse they are made of wood. And Ljubljana is perfect. they are allready building. Emonika, new stadium (football), 4 skyscrapers and many more.. :)

  • As a small country, it truly is a beautiful and breath taking place. Each city has something to offer and is beautiful in its own way.

As for people making comment about the EU or being a part of the Soviet Union and all that nonsense, the past is in the past- so leave it at that. Why can't people just enjoy things for the way they are today and stop being racist-whether it's about color, religion, last name, or what area you're from...enjoy today, because tomorrow may truly not come!

  • dobr video ni kaj, super narejeno, edino tisti kazino na koncu me je malo zmotu, te kazinoje bi mogli ukinit, jst jih mam že poln kurac, tuki u Novi Gorici gradijo same kazinoje namesto da bi nardili kej za mlade!!!

  • Pozdrav is Makedonije!

  • fak, ti se pa res nimaš rd, še mn pa prestolnice. usako mesto ma svoje "četrti" k niso pač najlepše, ampak v primerjavi z ostalimi državami da ne rečm kontinenti je ljubljana extra varno mesto in use..

  • hmmm... kako prikazujejo MALDIVE? LEPE PLAŽE, PALME, MORJE, OTOKE... a si že kdaj vidu, na kakršnem koli videu revščino, ki jo je tam še pa še hahahaha

  • did you think it good idea to visit slovenia for hunny month

  • I am from Slovenia (Ljubljana) ... if you will you must visit Bled! :) The island.. congratulation! :)

  • Yes. There is SO much history.

There is a Place to visit for couples. It is called Bled. There, you can find a church on a small island. You Boat out there and the church itself has a bell. If you ring it together as a couple three times, you will forever be blessed with good luck. I live in Canada myself and my parents are decendants. I have heard this story many times and I myself am awaiting my turn to do it. There are also different traditions as well. I can tell you SO much!

  • i've been to europe to visit 6 times, and ljubljana is one of my top five favorite cities. a perfect sized city, not too big, not too small. the whole country is beautiful.

  • @artistinlederhosen Thank you. I'm from Ljubljana.

  • me not so proud of that

  • ponosna ljubljančanka :D

  • No, it has small buildings, like Ljubljana :P

  • is slovenia a cute country? does it has big buildings like new york?

  • actually no. the talles ones are yet to be built in 2 to 3 years or so, approximately 70 - 100 meters which is 230 - 330 feet in height. there is simply no need for taller buildings.
