its is no way that is 53 grams dried and cured. you can look and see that those popcorn buds are not dense or big. it is not a bad plant, especially for a beginner but you need to learn how to top and manacure your plant to reduce the little buds and force it to only make big buds. next time, top the plant and tie down the new growth so that the plant will be tricked into making only top central colas
Hps is the past anyone who tells you different either is stuck in their ways or just prefers hps. I use a 240w led with supplemental cfl lighting that is the shit. Zero heat issues and uses less power. only downside I saw to led's is that that are pretty expensive. But with the money you save over time in power cost its completely worth it.

@kennycantdie67 you need some 3 gal buckets min for flowering, at least 1000 lumens for each plant, and some well draining soil mix I use coco, perlite, reg. potting soil, and some organic compost, all of which you can buy at wal mart or similar stores- you need to go to a hydro store for tha coco. Mix as follows 3-4 parts coco, 2parts soil, 1 part perlite, 1 part compost.The only true way to learn how to grow is HANDS ON keep trying, just keep track of change-that way you can tell it works.
If that was 62 watts total through out the whole grow then that is an impressive yield, especially since you had what looks like some powdery mildew if I'm not mistaken. probably be best to switch to HPS or CFL's in bloom/flower cycle i think... led's will get u by in hard times/if you have to make your own power, but if you have electricity at disposal then u shud swsitch to HPS or CFL for flowering--wud increase harvest A LOT.
@cojobo34 and wud cut down on growing time a lot as well--which balances out the gram per watt a little bit---you may be only using 60 watt led's, but if it takes twice as long to flower, than its more like using 120 watts for 53 grams.. i like HPF with LED's for veg stage, and then i think its best to go HPS in flowering to get the plant really goin and make for a great harvest.. this keeps power down for veg, and then watch power consumpt in rest of house when going to HPS for flower:)
LEDs may not make for the best plants, but they do grow your plants with less power and less heat, which means its easier to find an out of the way place in your house for a grow room. So if you live in a state thats not so weed friendly, you decrease your chances for police intervention while also increasing chances of not having to smoke brown commercial crap. So quit bitchin haters.
That's just ridiculous, not even worth the effort... LED's have a long way to go - at least they'll need individual reflectors for each chip if this is ever going to be realistic...
I'd rather take my chances outdoors than spend 15-3000 USD on something that lowers the cost of production by a few hundred dollars? I think not..

lol if you only got that on leds i wouldnt use it again your plant is covered in mold conditions too damp nutrients added too concentrated which is why leaves are scorched and it appears from what ive seen of these leds that plants are struggling to attain the light they need they are very sickly looking too

Impressive for only 60W... add that with the safety factor and the 10 years that light will burn effectively = winner. LED's have come a long way since this video was made also.
soundwolf6 you might as well be using flouro tubed lights if your using led there only good for starting your plants off, i mean shit man there using sticks to hold the thing up! bloody pathetic. you would be pushing getting a half an ounce once its dry and trimmed up. a 400w sonti agro will give you anything between 8 and twelve ounces dried and trimmed grown in a 4x2ft area so if you want quality and quantity do it properly. and if ya want it cheep do it out side and get awsome results
We've used HID for yrs & tried LED grows from 2 different LED mfg. One 350 mA & one with 700 mA drivers. Forget LED with a 350 mA driver in the 600+ nanometer range. They claim alot but do not deliver. We've had excellent yields/results with inda-gro induction fixtures over two grows now. The 100 watt for our tents & for germ/clone & the 400 watt for our larger 6x6 areas. Like LED they produce little heat & are full spectrum so we use one light for the entire grow for a fraction of the costs
HID is not the way to go, regardless of what TheMaluqua is saying, good god most of you are soooooooo lost in this shit its funny, yet breaks my heart.

the flowers are good proportion but the resin production is lack a whole lot... HID is the way to go....

from what i can see there were still a lot of white hairs, i wouldn't have plucked it so soon you might of got more out of it and probably would of had a more chronic taste when you smoke. but the weed looks good, after rewatching the vid it is clear the plant is not ready to harvest, it didn't even get to swell.

even if it was 20 grams its still pretty good considering it was only a 60 watt led. but 53 grams is belivable. I would like to see someone max out on one of these grows with like 400-1000 watts of light across all blue red yellow/orange. I think it would be better if these lights covered more spectrum than just blue and red

@pidos847 While I'm not 100% positive, I'd have to say that it's the same jwh-018 that is used in most herbal incenses. ) The difference being ES is smooth to smoke & it gets you at least 3 times as high as k-2. i wasnt a believer of leds until this video, 60w and allmost 60 grams, thats pretty impressive..the only thing is the price of the leds..there a bit ridiculously over priced ..hah

If you are going to grow do it right is my saying, That is a lot of time and risk for only 53 grams but do what you want. I have been looking at these new LEDS seem like a really good way to stay off the radar but definatly need more watts over those, they did look a bit premature when i think mine are done I wait at least one more week.

I, for one, enjoy the fact that someone used their brain to create a strain that grows small. A 'stealth' strain. I think they have their place in this world. Likewise, an LED grow light that produces next to no heat also has it's place in this world. A place that's very small, very hidden, and very cool.

Although led's do eliminate the heat factor in most grows, they are very very pricey.
HPS is the way to go for flowering and you will and with the money you have left over pick yourself up a nice size exhaust fan. Not to mention the higher yield! the list is endless why hps and mh are better, fuck led.

probably be best to switch to HPS or CFL's in bloom/flower cycle i think... led's will get u by in hard times/if you have to make your own power, but if you have electricity at disposal then u shud swsitch to HPS or CFL for flowering--wud increase harvest A LOT.

@cojobo34 and wud cut down on growing time a lot as well--which balances out the gram per watt a little bit---you may be only using 60 watt led's, but if it takes twice as long to flower, than its more like using 120 watts for 53 grams.. i like HPF with LED's for veg stage, and then i think its best to go HPS in flowering to get the plant really goin and make for a great harvest.. this keeps power down for veg, and then watch power consumpt in rest of house when going to HPS for flower:)

LEDs may not make for the best plants, but they do grow your plants with less power and less heat, which means its easier to find an out of the way place in your house for a grow room. So if you live in a state thats not so weed friendly, you decrease your chances for police intervention while also increasing chances of not having to smoke brown commercial crap. I'd rather take my chances outdoors than spend 15-3000 USD on something that lowers the cost of production by a few hundred dollars? I think not..

Yeah LEDs have really come along way. This video is probably using 1w or 3w leds. You guys really need to check out the new 6W LED grow lights.
I just got mine on ebay and they are the best light I have ever used.

lol if you only got that on leds i wouldnt use it again your plant is covered in mold conditions too damp nutrients added too concentrated which is why leaves are scorched and it appears from what ive seen of these leds that plants are struggling to attain the light they need they are very sickly looking too

soundwolf6 you might as well be using flouro tubed lights if your using led there only good for starting your plants off, i mean shit man there using sticks to hold the thing up! bloody pathetic. you would be pushing getting a half an ounce once its dry and trimmed up. a 400w sonti agro will give you anything between 8 and twelve ounces dried and trimmed grown in a 4x2ft area so if you want quality and quantity do it properly. and if ya want it cheep do it out side and get awsome results

We've used HID for yrs & tried LED grows from 2 different LED mfg. One 350 mA & one with 700 mA drivers. Forget LED with a 350 mA driver in the 600+ nanometer range. They claim alot but do not deliver. We've had excellent yields/results with inda-gro induction fixtures over two grows now. The 100 watt for our tents & for germ/clone & the 400 watt for our larger 6x6 areas. Like LED they produce little heat & are full spectrum so we use one light for the entire grow for a fraction of the costs

the flowers are good proportion but the resin production is lack a whole lot... HID is the way to go....
I'm not knocking your grow man, but I have been doing tghis shit for years and I manage a hydroponics store in California, we still don;t carry those fucking things simply because the cost isn't worth the gain in yield or resin production...
Adding a LED to a HID system would be worth trying but by it's self it's not.. Cheers fellas...

the unit will be ordered when i send off for my tent very soon..
im tryin to save on some electricity so, i chose to veg with larger CFL's along with an extra boost of nitrogen placed in the grow medium.

from what i can see there were still a lot of white hairs, i wouldn't have plucked it so soon you might of got more out of it and probably would of had a more chronic taste when you smoke. but the weed looks good, after rewatching the vid it is clear the plant is not ready to harvest, it didn't even get to swell.

even if it was 20 grams its still pretty good considering it was only a 60 watt led. but 53 grams is belivable. I would like to see someone max out on one of these grows with like 400-1000 watts of light across all blue red yellow/orange. I think it would be better if these lights covered more spectrum than just blue and red

I cant see how thats 53g dry....looks tiny...the buds are all small and its not exactly a bushy plant.
I would say you got about 20g off that dry...if that
I would never use LED's, they are rubbish....as you can see from the video :)

To all weed smokers, stop getting arrested for weed! I live in a state that locks you up for a seed! In almost every case I've heard of someone being arrested for weed, it was always a simple traffic stop that caused it. You get pulled over for no seat belt or a brake light was out and then the cop smells weed in the car. Next thing you know your in handcuffs and on your way to jail for a bag of weed, roach in the ashtray or a seed on the floor. STOP SMOKING WEED IN YOU CARS! USE AIR FRESHENERS

@pidos847 While I'm not 100% positive, I'd have to say that it's the same jwh-018 that is used in most herbal incenses. ) The difference being ES is smooth to smoke & it gets you at least 3 times as high as k-2. I would prefer a natural product (pot) but the boat I'm in if I want to get high I have to leave it up to scientists b/c dirty piss & my job don't mix. also I always had headaches & lethargy when smoking weed & I don't experience either w/ ES.

If you are going to grow do it right is my saying, That is a lot of time and risk for only 53 grams but do what you want. I have been looking at these new LEDS seem like a really good way to stay off the radar but definatly need more watts over those, they did look a bit premature when i think mine are done I wait at least one more week.

I'm glad that not everyone said "man, fuck lowryder plants. I'm not even gonna look into that, cuz look at these big ass buds". I, for one, enjoy the fact that someone used their brain to create a strain that grows small. A 'stealth' strain. I think they have their place in this world. Likewise, an LED grow light that produces next to no heat also has it's place in this world. A place that's very small, very hidden, and very cool.

Notice how stupid that sounds? That's how it sounds when you bash LED like that. 95% of the time, when someone is bashing like that, it means they are jealous. No-one cares that you paid for ancient lighting, just go buy some of the new stuff.

Although led's do eliminate the heat factor in most grows, they are very very pricey.
HPS is the way to go for flowering and you will and with the money you have left over pick yourself up a nice size exhaust fan. Not to mention the higher yield! the list is endless why hps and mh are better, fuck led.

what was your yield? 20 grams? dude, you should be getting like 12-16 ounces per plant!!! Get a 400w MH and HPS light!!! get a switchable ballast also.

@christinafree1 very few people can get a pound with a 400w hps. more like 6-10 oz maybe if ur good. 12-16 oz per plant? 2 600w lights per plant maybe.
