5 stars for caring enough to ask questions. Please visit our main website to learn more about the answers to your questions. Go through the search on our main website and put in Faith the bobcat and her story will come up for you.
Faith the wild, rehabbed bobcat, has survived quite well in the wild since her release. She was never conditioned to look to humans for food. She was wild and the staff did their best to allow her to remain wild during her rehibilitaion time so she could be returned to the wild.
I like you question. If you visit our website you will see the story of one of the previous wild bobcats named Faith that was rescued & rehabbed then released. She was raised & kept away from humans. Staff had as little contact with her as possible so she wouldn't begin to see humans as buddies. She was given the opportunities to hunt & catch prey. When she was big enough, strong enough & her skills were developed she was returned to the wild. Staff regularly tracked her to see her progress.
