My dad taught me the wonders of the hibachi when I was a kid, and when I moved away to college, my grandparents gave me an awesome cast iron hibachi grill to take with me. But I wasn't quite sure how to use it. So thanks for the tips!
Thanks for posting. I've been a fan of hibachis ever since I saw a tiny one 30 years ago in Japan, but most people don't know what I'm talking about. Ideal for yakitori, lemongrass chicken, grilled plantains and sweet potatoes and so much more. The cast iron really makes a difference in the way the food cooks.
Some of our older videos on You Tube are having audio trouble, we have not found a way to fix them yet; without having to delete them. We are continuing to work on them.

lol, i like how when people use hibachi in North American we refer to it as something that cooks something else(AKA a GRILL), and the original Chinese version is used as just a heating device not usually used for cooking anything. i wounder how that came to be? Ah you just got to love the language barrier we have.....lol :) (o yeah and hibachi is Chinese not english but is strongly associated with japan more, in both terms for those who don't know that, we just messed it up a bit)
gonna get me some fish "feelays" tonight

This grill looks usually small for a charcoal grill. Can you explain what amount of charcoal is needed to cook well in this grill?
dcentral 2 years ago
for low heat cooking, you would probably use around 10-15pcs of natural lump charcoal and for med-high heat cooking, around 20-25pcs.

I just bought this exact grill today. Great video. Would you be able to post some videos with hibachi grilling techniques?
Keep up the good work.
