  • GET ME THE PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD.

  • How come every time a band is from Canada or Europe or Asia or whatever people are all "_____ music rocks!"? I mean people aren't going on OFWGKTA or Edward Sharpe or Black Lips videos posting comments about how sick American music is. Just seems odd.

  • @MissZombieBarbie Because there's so much shit mainstream music coming from the usa compared to the other nations. Still, if it helps, some of american music rocks!

  • wouuuuu wouuuuu very grat very great!!!

  • I <3 Tokyo Police Club...

    BRILLANT!!

  • *sigh* i <3 this song!!! :)

  • Haven't I heard this "all new music is derivative" coupled with "why do other musicians get all the breaks" before? As for the Smiths, Orange Juice and Buzzcocks, what about the VU, Sex Pistols, Kinks, Eno, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Bowie, NY Dolls, Television. Most music is evolutionary, not revolutionary. Considering these guys were about 16 years old when they recorded this, I think they're pretty brilliant. If they can develop their sound a little, we'll see if the label sticks.

  • I heard this same schtick about "Hope of the States" a few years ago... Who you ask? Exactly...The hype machine has a way of raising and then knocking down its idols. The bands you've mentioned survived the test of time- I mean The last New York Dolls single was released in 1974 and we're still talking about them 23 years later! Will the TPC be like that? hmmm.... btw John Lennon was 24 when The beatles recorded the album Please Please me in like one or two days... Brilliant anyone?

  • eugh, stop being such a "I'm such a music buff" it's a fun song, why does it have to be a stereotype or a copy, all music is just an adaptation of something else anyway, even GOD FORBID, "UNPOPULAR MUSIC" SWEET JESUS

  • you have some music "issues"

  • brillant.

  • this song is so...fun. :)

  • Okay, so their not cops, and they're Canadian, actually, but they still rock!

  • qisgiuyjgavhj stfu x)

    i fuckin love this song<33

  • Love it.

  • THIS SONG IS ROCKING

  • hm mmmm....I like it :)
