You really take liberties in your description by saying "This is a song that I wrote" ... I realize you have a disclaimer of sorts, but you didn't write it at all.

Tom, was one of those rare people who was so gifted with his ability to see problems and solve them. His intellect was above most men, yet he was just old regular Tom when it came to family and friends. Tom was just plain old fun to be with. He loved life, his wonderful wife Ellen, his great kids and all those who touched his life. Tom was a one of a kind. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. This tribute was wonderful in keeping his memory alive.

That is a beautiful tribute. It's great to see my father immortalized in song. I can't tell you how moving I found it. Thank you for sharing it.

My name is beth richmond and i am one of tom's cousin's. I used to go out and visit Tom and Ellen and the girls every summmer and Tom and i were very close (of course keeping me in line in my teenager years) I really enjoyed finding this tribute to Tom.
