  • keep searchen for your own tone or until it fids you

  • U GUYS R GOOD!!!

  • great job man...one question why you use two pickups and not only neck pickup?

  • Let it go man .. You got what the blues needs .. but LET GO .,.!

  • slow down. you're missing way too many notes

  • Esta cara la Bondiola en USA?

  • good stuff

  • well done great stuff man

  • Nice slippers

  • nice lickin, most katz cant make that jump so push it use what you got and add some jimi. you're there.

  • sometimes cheese is good :)

  • DUH. We ALL know that boxingin ... at least people who play and respect BLUES ... Elmore was great ... it is a shame that he died at age 45 in 1963 ... :-(

  • Bro ... you have some really good licks/parts... and some really ??? parts ...

We ALL appreciate you effort ... and you are on your way, seriously.

LISTEN to what meamichael has posted ...

Busy is NOT good ... drama IS (good).

I am just a drummer ;) but you can do some nice things ... keep up the VERY HARD work, my brother!!!!

I grew up with my dad playing with Albert (King) ... Clapton, etc. ... you DO have some nice tones much of the time!!!

    Good luck.

  • your good man,nice

  • killer slippers!

  • Maybe a little bit more practice would be good before going on tape.

  • You guys have valid points, but I would say that he didn't learn to play like that by NOT feeling it. Of course he feels it. He made it his own version and had some really nice playing in there.

Good Job man! You just keep playing what you feel and you will keep growing as a player.

  • good practice session but fire the camera

  • Thia guy is Maneh

  • People who say they can't play guitar because their fingers are too short have no excuse. He pulls off some really good licks in spite of it.

  • Good work, man. With a little bit of Ibanez TS-9 it would be absolutely amazing.

  • Nice fender tone. You could make your phrasing a bit slower with less notes and make them count. Less is MORE dude. You are very good though. Keep up the good work.

  • less is more - that is absolutely right on with some great advice. this guy is a very good player and just needs to lean back and have a little more patience and don't worry about filling up all the empty spaces - oh and keep it sweet. yeah.

  • You're very good.

I was looking around the room for Albert King. There's no reason why you shouldn't be out there with the rest of them. Poor Stevie Ray, poor us, we lost him.

  • Hey man...... I wish we were neighbours. Just goin by the way you reply to some of these jackAsses, I think we would get along real good. I'm a bass player in middle GA. Just in case you live next door........ ;P

You play real nice bubba..... post some mo!

  • REAL NICE

  • Good Job...Sounds like me playing my guitar... after a serious weekend! Rock On!

  • i have the blues at sunrise cd and i can't find tabs so i decided to torture myself and learn it by ear.. it's foolish but i'm almost done with it.

  • Slow down and make your phrases count.

  • nice slippers

  • What a good place to play blues man. Jaaja; with a glass of jack daniels. Don´t stop play blues people, lovely god´s music for "these" moments. I do it with my band. See you later.

  • you done ok dude. Keep it up

  • You sound aight, piece of advice though, call your video what it is if you dont want to invite loads of hostile comments like the ones you are getting. You have the right idea, just need to bring out the notes you play with more confidence and feeling.

  • shut up fucking asshole. all you can do is play with ur own cock bitch. he better than you bitch. fuckin Mic

  • Hey Man - don't rush it..relax..breathe...you're tryin' to do too much - but doin' a fine job just the same...ciao

  • Your title indicates blues greats, not you. You wasted my time. Have fun but save it for your friends and be honest about what the upload is.

  • nice slippers!

  • le compro las chanclas... báñese y luego toca, si?

  • you should play less notes and I would feel it better. but not sooooo bad altought

  • Not bad at all... a few bum notes...but: basically well done.. you need a fatter sound..

    KEPP IT UP...

I did play like you do now in 1971..

    Regards

  • im guessing u suck now peter59

  • Dude! Don't let these haters deter you. Keep experimenting and play as many wrong notes as you can! That's a good way to get a signature sound. I like a lot of what I heard and keep it up...Don't play it safe and you'll be a monster one day!!

  • yeah dude. you have potential but i can tell its not coming from your soul. you need that to call yourself a blues player.

  • that was very strange playing

  • Pretty good m8 but turn that up!!!!! Perhaps that way the tone would seem F A T T E R.

  • come on where is the blues?

  • God damned!!! Teach me that!!!!

I can only play fucking accords!!!!

    greetings!!! from akkoestick player!!!

  • accords? seems like u need to learn that they are chords beore you're ready to move on

  • super stiff man just let it flow...

  • love the slippers,nice touch

  • Nice little lics...but it feels so note for note lifted off the page.

  • nice one dude!

  • LOL Never try this at home:)

  • don't blow your load too early, build your solos more. And lose the slippers.

  • Get a deluxe reverb and put it on 10.

  • Dude, WHERE DID YOU GET THIS TRACK??? Its amazing!!!! Please tell me where!!!

  • good man... and good sound!

  • dude are you playing...

    on "acust" ??

  • I agree. I like the skills. but perosnally i like to add a tad more distortion, i mean theres nothing speccial coming of the sound of the high e string. might as well not be plugged in, like the amp is used simply for volume and nothing else. If you like that i guess then have fun lol

  • yea....i follow what your saying....

    do you play ??....

  • ya mann. who doesnt these days eh lol although everyones mostly noobs using power chords lol you play as well eh?

  • you are so right everybody plays guitar but hardly anyone plays well

  • Good work, work on fattening up the sound. It's a bit thin.

  • taking the credit for someone eles work is not cool.

  • why isnt Elmore James in the description or title of this video?? after all he is the one that wrote this song

  • Amigo aprende a tocar, parece q tocas en cuotas, la verdad un desastre, semejante guitarra en esas manos!!!! q desperdicio

  • Nice work friend, see teresa russell on youtube, search till you see the video with me playing harp with her playing the sky is crying, my daught filmed it so you can't see us too well cause it was dark.

  • did good but put more feeling in to it

  • Nice clean work.

  • fuzzy slippers?????????????????

  • yes, He is shy, more feeling, more power

  • I thinks he's really good. Put him on a stage; he's probably just shy for the camera.

  • Let loose man you sound like your scared to dig in diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig in bro kill it even if you mess up a bit stretch those strings man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good playing

    peace

    Peace

  • you're really good, sounds great, but I'm just not feeling it. Add distortion (just a little) when playing SRV, and keep up the good work

  • Pretty good mate! allways fun to jam with some SRV and King

  • cuantos years old playin guitar

    cuanto llevas tocando ?

  • Love the slippers dude!

  • Good man...keep on gettin it. Most of the people commenting probably don't even play. HAHA

  • It sounds like the default settings on a shitty kids amp. This would sound 10 times better if there was more oomph.

  • Is good, but I'm not gettin' the shivers down me spine...

...project yourself more into it, don't think.

  • nice tone but its too clean for me. i like some distortion like SRV does

  • dont play when the singer is singin! big ass mistake

  • i'm sorry dude you got a nice tone but you need more than a good tone to play that stuff... you need a soul lol

  • You really suck man! Your so bad I wish I wasn't even born ffs

  • every woman that has seen this video is now an openly gay lesbian

  • definetly not what you stated in the title.

  • Good job, yet the video title is quite ambitious.

  • Awesome dude, very good playing...i like the way you put all that feeling in that fender;)

    Long live the blues

  • nice playing man...

    but who is the singer???

  • hey man nice playing...

    but who is the singer??

  • They are officially the worst slippers I've ever seen. Well played.

  • its blues =)

  • boring

  • my page is done!

  • marshall with gibson sg + a cry baby and you cant go wrong

  • or a decent strat =].

  • then again nothing can compare to the '335

  • so true lol

  • nice one, this fella came out of the womb carrying a strat, lol, done the blues justice, respect

  • Good blues tone comes from the fingers. Knowing how to express yourself with them, knowing how to perfectly control the strings with them. Foot pedals? Psh.

  • The soloing is not perfect, but who is perfect here? Sometimes a Fender whithout a pedal or other effect is nice too. This guy plays on the own way, and your playing is very cool.

  • Its good, but you will never be able to feel the blues wearin them damn slippers!

  • You don't need pedals. You need real blues records.

  • yeah foot pedals and a lil' more reverb? nice job, you've got the SRV tone down pretty smooth, oh and btw...nice slippers ;)

  • Un très bon feeling..

    Véro

  • The SKY is crying missing STEVIE!!! THANKS STEVIE FOR SHARING!!!!!

  • i'm reading peoples coments saying that you don't put conviction in your playing, i however i think that are puttin in conviction the only problem is with the tone as it is straight guitar you shold invest in some pedals (like a tubescremer) but other than that you play well and clearly have an understanding of the blues

  • You are great, very nice

  • could u tell me were i could get this backing track? Thanks, great playing by the way.

  • hmm, run the risk of sounding like john mayer? i could handle that. this guy is ok too. he has some good licks. i wonder how old this guy is

  • has a nice feel

  • Where's the passion man! Cut lose! Just go with it!

  • we ve got the same fender

    you play good!

    but give more passion

    i like your vocabulary

and try to jam at night

    you ll see a difference!

  • Nice playing my freind, but could I sugest that the only thing you need to do is try and play the notes with a little more conviction, when Clapton or SRV or Albert King etc play a note, they PLAY it you know, it jumps out at you and says listen to me, even in their slower stuff, like SRV and Lenny, soft but still played with conviction, otherwise you'll run the risk of sounding like John Mayer! Still a nice job though, well done.

  • Listen to bnapoleon, I thought the exact same thing. A lot of the notes just pass me by, I'm not feeling the passion man! You have the skills, you just need to get some mmph! in there. It's better to play a few bum notes with conviction (Hendrix, Stevie, Page) than play all the right notes and not touch anyone. Hope you're not offended, it's just some friendly advice! Keep going!

  • I have known EC for over 35 years and I have seen him wear slippers very similar when he recorded at Criteria in Miami back in the 70s. So stop with the fashion razzing...this young man can play... some of you need to spend more time playing scales and less talking trash..

  • good job, man, and good sound too

how much does it cost the fender

  • Yes well done man ... but I wish that people who are posting garage covers of SRV, Hendrix, Winter, etc would make that clear in the title, ie, "My Garage Band Playing Voodoo Chile" etc..

  • Great Playing!!! Is there anyway you could tell me where to get that backing track? Thanks

  • you are good !

  • he kinda looks like Clapton

  • Ridiclous !!

    Bad, not good.

  • you are good boy, just beliave more in you. you can be greater than

  • you pluck too hard, yes it needs attack for sure but maybe about a third less, make your quiet parts quieter and just turn up the volume on your amp, that is the only advice i have but I think it will make a big diff, because you can pay well,Nick

  • Some nice ideas, but very sloppy playing. Reverb won't help, you don't have a very nice touch. with your head down you kind of look like Clapton.

  • albert could probably play this with his nob better

  • Albert could also play it better with his 'bon' too!

  • Nice work!

  • very good impro. what fender is this? mex or a usa? keep on bluesing

  • dem sum ghetto slippers mon...

  • You know the notes, but you seem to lack the feeling.

  • dont be so full of tension relax quite good if you can take things more easy!go on!

  • dude you need some REVERB

  • I agree.

  • where you get the backing track i so would love to have it

  • PS Good playing. You got something going DS

  • I am not so familiar to see what key you are playing. Please could you tell me!

  • you can shell this guitar...than you have something.

  • Was this all improv? If so SWEET. I always like to put on the 12 bar blues and try to come up with some solo's. It's really the only way to get a real feel for the blues.

  • That was really good, you definitely have a style, i like it!

I can do the slow stuff, i want to do more what you did. I like them high bendy-like notes :)

  • You need to play "YOU". You can do it, just forget those guys and do what you do. I like the riff at :39 I use that one all the time. You have enough people telling how good you are. You need someone to give you guidance if you are willing ot take it.

  • you look like clapton be his stunt double if he does a movie for a biography.

  • hey eric. jk. good job.

  • dam, i thought that was clapton at home...

  • you just like "Eric Clapton"

  • i like the sound of your fender guitar

  • good feel

nice to playing without pedals etc

  • adoro el sonido cristalino de la estrato, muy cool

  • You dont play the Blues~~you FEEL it...you got to quit trying to play the shit and feel it. ITs not rock n roll...anybody can do that...good luck to you.

  • Nice, nice man....follow the blues way at the end!!!!

    VIVA EL BLUES!!

    NUNCA MORIRÁ!!!

    PARA LOS SUFRIDORES...

  • Man, one thing was out in your blues...

And that was your pair of "pantufas"! Next time put your feet on the ground, do anything, but lay off that "Whiter Pair of Sleepers"! You should respect the Blues!

Make the Blues is not a joke! You must be well dressed up! In memory to the old bluesmen.

At last, keep on bluesing! Tight hug!

  • Way too busy and not too clean man, slow down and feel it.

  • not bad

  • nice playin man love SRV..someone asked for backtrack i practice along with qualité backtracks at guitarbt good backs no voice or guit ..I sing and play ..hope its helpfull for you guys keep on rocking...

  • Pretty cool! I'd say don't try to be "too busy" with your licks. A little "soulful sustain" ala EC wouldn't hurt, when one tries to jam as many notes as possible into something it gets a choppy "chicken pickin" kind of sound....(Unless that's what you wanted) Tone's not quite there for me either....

You got some talent though, stay dedicated!

    Best....

  • tastely done lex1guitar1player

  • Bravo per la tecnica, il suono e l'idea. Complimenti!

  • azraelkahn said it all... you have to get your timing down alot better. learn how to do those pinch harmonics too ;)

it all sounded so... muddled to me. you've got to let the music flow, not just force it.

  • Vert nice licks. You should get your timing right and let the notes breathe a little...let some staccato and some linger.

  • Hey, where did you find that backtrack? if you could tell me that would be great! thanks.

  • very nice job i need to learn som e new runs though im still im still kinda new >_> blues=awsome

  • thanks for your talent...do ya wanna be my teacher?

  • Tone is crappy.

  • nice slippers.

  • ha ha, thank´s mr blues ;c)

    nice

  • Not bad at all...you keep on playing dude, you have some great licks in there...

  • that shud b played on a gibson lmao as u no albert king was a gibson man lol nice tho

  • there is some fantastic licks in there.the start of the solo is incredible.very much albert king like..(i guess you have listened a lot to him.)you need to put all the pieces together though.

  • damn good a lot better than i am

  • i feel the title is a little misleading... but ur not a waste of a visit. Wish I could play like you :)
