As far as the Tank on fire is concerned, the Survivors used Incendiary ammo. On Tanks especially, the fire doesn't last very long, so even though it might LOOK like the Extinguisher put him out, he was actually hit with flaming bullets.

Also: notice no other fire than the Tank & Boomer, so a Molotov couldn't have been thrown, since the Boomer was on fire when he died. Had a Molly been thrown, EVERYONE would've been engulfed.

@LordFrostDeath that actually was a molotov, and the extinguisher did put him out. You can see my boomer catch fire from it as well. The extinguisher was either ruptured from a stray bullet or my boomer explosion set it off.

hunter in l4d2 have dodgeroll,means if it has been melee and the survivor didnt continue meleeing,it take 1 sec(maybe less than) to get ready to pounce,you can see couch melee him around 3 times and started shooting,which its a mistake =D

With the guys at L4DNao uploading the pro-games, and I would expect L4D2 shortly once they figure out a league format, there shouldn't really be any need for guides when you could be watching their games. They show the proper usage of the SI in the proper team context.

Right now people are so green that I'm averaging one charger insta kill per Dead Center 1 played. It becomes even worse if someone falls, gets jockeyed, or pulled off the side because then you're just a sitting duck getting them up.

My main criticisms right now is the lack of evolution of the source engine, unappealing survivor design, and some unappealing level design. I would have particularly liked to see improvements in the game's lag interpolation and physics. Levels I liked are ones like Swamp Fever, disliked ones are ones like the parish. I do like dead center, mainly on the fact that it's a hilarious bunch of death traps.

Also, the Charger and Spitter seem like the most fun of the infected now, from what I've seen. They actually seem mildly overpowered.

Dead Center 1 is a showcase of hilarity, especially because of the weapon choices at the beginning. You don't know team tension until you have a smoker with his tongue charged, camping some guy hanging off the ledge, when his teammates are carrying three melee weapons.

What I am thinking happened there was that the fire extinguisher did put him out, but my exploding as boomer caused the fire extinguisher to rupture. Either that, or random gunfire.

Makes me wonder if that existed in l4d1

Actually it's because the survivors used incendiary rounds on the tank, which does not cause the tank to remain on fire until it dies, just take fire damage for a few seconds.

That's what I don't get. The Jockey is a stronger Hunter, with the ability to jump off at will. It's really powerful.

It's not a stronger hunter... It takes more damage, yes, but it deals hella less. And it doesn't jump off at will, it jumps off when the dude it's riding is incapped.

The Jockey is made to be a distraction/combo infected. It's not ment to do alot of damage with his attacks but put the survivors in akward situations.

Using spit, bile, fire, ledges. A Jockey can devestate a team without haveing to do any heavy damage.

It can't get off at will, but it is a Smoker/Hunter hybrid on crack. It has a lot more flexibility over the separation it can cause, and can easily go unnoticed in the middle of a barf bag, thanks to nameplates disappearing during blinds. Combine that with the possibilities opened up thanks to the numerous cliffs, environmental hazards, or teammate hazards like spitter acid, and I think he's far better than either hunter or smoker.
