I just bougth an a Garret ACE 250 metal detector......can this equipment detect Meteorites?????....i lived 2 hours from the ¨Zona del Silencio¨ world´s known as a very special place for meteorites and others things.
when i get older thats were i want to travel...... but i got a question now every time i see a meteorite video the metal detectors the use dont have like those beeping sound only like the loud sorta static thing.... like my metal detector makes like only like beeping sounds... so i was wondering is there a difference??
The meteorite hunters like to use headsets so they can hear every little sound the metal detector makes without being distracted by other sounds like birds and other things. Not so good if there's rattlesnakes around though. When they unplug the headsets, they can here the beep-beep sounds like your talking about. Thanks, Myke
