In 2001 I almost died. I was seroconverting from HIV- to HIV+ and the conversion made me very sick. I was spiking fevers of almost 41 ℃. When I would go to sleep my mother and I weren't sure if I would wake up again. The doctors didn't know at first what was wrong. My tests were coming up positive. But I have to say I was at ease with dying. I didn't want to but accepted that it could happen. I wanted to just get better. I did and now I am healthier now then what I was then.
