Anyway I know that black women straighten their hair--some of them do it out of self hatred yes, but white women do a number on their hair too. They also wear the hell out of wigs and weave a la Sarah Palin.

we dont accuse them, they point at you and say thats what they want to look like. But they never achieve it, and not every white woman has straight hair, and not ever black woman has kinky hair. West Africans have tighter curls, East have looser curls, North have wavier textures. But no matter what the texture, its all beautiful!!!! They prized it as blessed, being the closest thing on them to the heavens!!!! and the hair isnt DOG hair. there is human hair (from china or india) and synthetic.

Well I feel that OTHER cultures weren't as freeing with letting US know what they do to their hair and I feel we need to keep somethings within the family ....if you know what i mean. I don't think WE should even let ohers know about what we do ....they have beauty scrects and so should we. IT IS CALLED DISCRETION!...just a thought.

No they are celebrating "Black Hair". African American hair comes in all sorts of textures and that it what they are celebrating. Black women use weaves and relaxers for different styles and looks. Not all black women have kinky hair, it comes in all different textures....I LOVE BLACK WOMEN!!!!!!!!BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!
