Putting a Micro SD Card into Nook

I know how to install the card, but can't seem to find an answer to how to transfer data from my nook color to my installed/formatted micro sd card. I've searched everywhere!!! My nook is full and I need to transfer some to my card to make room on my internal memory or at least be able to download the new apps,etc. to my card. HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!!!!

I never had a problem getting an external SD IN a COLOR Nook, but I have one STUCK inside of my new Color Nook. I tried lightly pushing it with twizzers, etc to no avail. It looks like the old Nook had a more direct and more trouble-free access to the SD card. I suspect will be hearing more about this as a design flaw on new Color Nook.

I couldn't figure out where the SD slot was haha. I think I will just have Barnes and Noble install it. That way, if my nook breaks, they will be responsible for replacing it since I have an extended warranty! ha.
