  • they started this show in india now , good 1

  • I think it is a wonderful ending to a wonderful show.

  • Ironically, "Paul" is now a lawyer.

  • This show was amazing.

  • maybe my fav show ever, but i hated that Kev didnt get Weenie!!!! to me that was a lways what the show was about. His eventually marrying her. i know that is how it usually hapens and i wanted , just for once to see it go the other way. Boy meets girl, loves girl, gets girl, marries girl...

  • @bluegrassreb1 me too! i was hoping for them to be together. i wish that they did a season of 12th grade and narrarated the end like they did this end so that we could see them go off instead of standing there kissing and hugging when they nararate that they didnt end up together.

  • @niniisjakie indeed . head is lowered, hats off to you.(and Kevin and Weenie)

  • the greatest TV show of all time bar none

  • Whenever I see last 5 mins, I remain depressed for next 5 days :((, true reality is hard, we are facing the sad reality everyday, at least in this wonderful TV series I expected (and still expect) the narrator would say "but destiny is destiny, both me and Winnie got divorced after few years, and married each other and lived happily ever after with our kids just like our parents!!"

  • one of my fav television show of those times when I was kid and it feel so happy to see it agian here! Thanks!

  • So wait.. I'm confused. What did Kevin end up doing?

  • @brokentvpictures For work.

  • @brokentvpictures Banging Madeline.......hahahahaha

  • I remember a show, a channel, a bulky television, a girl- like a lot of other girls, a boy- like a lot of other boys, a story like a lot of other coming of age stories; and the thing is- after all these years I can still look back... and watch with wonder.

  • This was a great ending to an even greater tv show. The only thing that i would change is that kevin and winnie would have turned out.

  • actually, I'm one of the few who hated this finale....as did several of the cast members who thought it was poorly written. As far as I'm concerned....the series lost its steam after Season 4....when they came back for that 5th season, Savage, Paul, Winnie just looked too old for the parts and less interesting plots were being written.....

  • This always makes me cry. One of the best, most powerful endings to any show. This was one of the best shows ever made.

  • Grew up watching this show and loved it.So glad it on the hub, 294 on direc tv.

  • Will this T.V. show ever be available on DVD?

  • @jayberwanger It's available on demand on netflix

  • @jayberwanger not unless the company that owns this show comes up with a solution to pay Music Artist royalties. That or we will end up with Season Sets costly astronomical amounts.....or they edit the shows (like they did WKRP in Cincinatti) and replace the original music with elevator artists....

  • great post thanks a million

  • This and Big Fish: my favourite ever endings.

  • to all those who thought they would never again show this on tv it is actually on the hub channel 102 or 3

  • Sincerelly one of the best series that I´ve ever seen in my life. Thank you bob brush and to all of them. Great ending.

  • What happened to Winnie? It tells Kevin got married..

  • You know you are getting older, when you start relating to the parents instead of the kids. When I first saw this series, it was so reflective of my growing up in a small town in the sixties. Now when I watch it again, I feel sadness for his father, who worked hard to provide for his family, but sadly died before getting to enjoy his retirement, and grandchildren.

  • @pocogirl excellent said!

  • Yeah, honey we need to stop at the airport to meet my old girlfriend...stupid

  • @piggys31 I can relate. I'm 32 as well and me and my daughter currently watching the whole eries on netflix. This show is gona kill me of nostalgia.

  • ugh, this ending just destroys my entire world. can't watch it without baaaaaaaaaaawling.

  • WHAT A WONDERFUL SHOW!! I can so relate to this time period. Fred Savage was the greatest child actor ever. The show takes place from 68-73 while being filmed 88-93. My older brother is Kevin's age, born in 1956 and 12 in 1968 when the show opens. Savage actually born in 76 so he is the exact age he is supposed to be in the show. This was my time period being born in 1959 and I can so relate to so much in this show; house, cars, school, friends, activities and news flashes.

  • @zickie2000 same here zickie.......my older brother was born in 56 & myself in 59...this show actually makes me feel like I was in it.......very cool.

  • @vaughnmichael101 Hey, I was born in 59, too. My older brother who reminds me of Wayne Arnold so much was born in 58. My brother picked on me unmercifully but Wayne was a midget and my brother was a giant.

I loved The Wonder Years, reminded me so much of growing up

  • Kevin when he was 11 and kevin when he's 17. Where did the time go?

  • I am 32 years old and I talk to my kids about this show all the time! This episode breaks my heart all the time. I thank my mom and dad for showing me that this was the American dream and grateful living in America.

  • God damn I hate that I saw this. It took me back to my childhood and spanked me till I cried! Great show. Memories are vivid.

  • This brokes my heart in 1000 of pieces .

  • I dont know... I didnt born in this age and i didnt watch the serie on Tv... But, I dont know.. I feel like i had do it. I madly love this serie, my father bought the serie on Dvd and i felt in love since the first time i watch it. Its the best tv serie I've ever seen. Thanks dad for showing me the wonder years. I feel an emptiness everytime i see the last episode. :') ♥

  • Man a tear still comes down when I see this ..

  • The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, The Adventures of Pete and Pete etc. etc. Kids today can only dream about Networks actually giving a damn about children's programing. You know, making something because its quality tv and not just because its easily marketable.

  • Please, please resolve all the music licensing issues and get this wonderful show on DVD with the original music!

  • Having grown up in Whittier, where virtually the entire last scene was shot, I feel as though this finale has a certain, more personal affect on me that many others can only hope to feel.

  • i cried then and im crying watching it in 2011

  • They could not have ended this great show any better.

  • Just watched this on Netflix... I'm bawling.

  • I think it's a perfect way to end a show.

  • Netflix!!!!!!!!! :D

  • I hated seeing this show end. The worst thing is it's not on DVD. And who knows if it'll ever be! I loved the Wonder Years!!!

  • @75DrummerBoy It's on Netflix!

  • @theballer04

Not the same because you don't own Netflix videos. It's a rental!!!

  • Wow, Kevin sure moved fast to graduate high school in 1974, then go to college, find his future wife, be married and have a kid 8 years later!

  • that was then great tv it was simple , music, movies i miss the 80's & 90's. now what do we have today reality tv watching whores acting retarded

  • Is it just me or does the hairs on the back of your neck stand up?

  • @onydozie yeah i know..this is still on the hub my dvr still records the shows.. :)

  • @aim1crzy Man, I'm so jealous. Wish I could get it on dvd.

  • This is the only ending to a series that ever made me cry.

  • @MrSethg17 Have you seen the ending to Six Feet Under?

  • I'm actually glad they didn't end up together. The truth is, people usually don't end up with their high school sweethearts. I applaud this show for reflecting life; that is, people come into our lives, they're important for awhile, and as time goes on they become less important. A bit sad, but something that's good to acknowledge.

  • @xlwolfshirt nicely put :)

  • @xlwolfshirt People usually dont end up with they're high school sweethearts, but wouldnt it be romantic if they did? The first love is the most important, because that is the love u dont have to work at, a pure love, its been proven through socio-psychological studies, that no one ever loves greater than that first time. I would argue; the first love, is the one true chance people have at real love. Kev and Win shoulda ended up together, at the very least, to believe in a rare fairytale.

  • @jerrysoh619 every show ever is a fairy tale, I think it's quite brave of a show to not give in to fans' dreams of escapism that almost every other television show ever gave into.

  • @xlwolfshirt sometimes they do though

  • They totally should've made Winnie and Kevin end up together.

  • IF U HAVE NETFLIX...THEY HAVE IT ON THERE...ALL THE EPISODES

  • I still look back with wonder, too.

  • @AntManIAm I look back with wonder too, the wonder on WHY we don't see shows like this anymore ; )

  • i used 2 watch dis show back in da 90s wen i was about 7r8 and i dnt no why but it randomly popd in2 my head 2day and i spent da past hour searching da internet for it! iv found it now so time 2 start from da start ha! Delited

  • I was a fan from the the beginning and when he reveals his father's death....that was rough. The father character was thhst shows heart and soul. A true hero. Provided for his family by sacrificing his dreams @ a job he hated.

  • watching this ending as a kid...i knew it meant something, but i didnt know what. now, watching it again as a 22 year old, i cant stop crying. its just so sad yet deadly accurate. ill miss the Arnold family. and winnie and paul!

  • I loved this show use to watch it on Channel 4 when I was growing up, what a sad and clever ending to end one of america's greatest shows of all time.

  • SEQUEL SEQUEL SEQUEL.... TV special, movie, anything!!!! Please bring Winnie and Kevin back together!

  • i think it should have it ended with kevin and winnie staying together for ever

  • Comment removed

  • Best show ever man...brings back great memories!!!! :)

  • Growing up during the same era as Kevin Arnold made this show very special to me and one of the best ever in the history of TV dramas. Excellent story lines, great acting, so true to life, and I relived all the happiness and heartbreak I had experienced through Kevin's life. I'm actually sad now that I've completed the series, I will miss the laughs, the tears and these wonderful characters. Something inside of me though, really wanted Kevin and Winnie to be together forever.

  • Best ending.....Ever

  • @362chop Ya, I really don't think any other show had such a masterfully graceful and profound exit as this

  • I'm 14 to and my dads 56 and grew up in this great simple time of good music and classic movies. Our parents wer so lucky!

  • @Killzone1912 I got news for you, that's what every generation thinks of the previous generation. Enjoy the time you're living in. In the future, people will say "Holy hell, I can't even imagine what it was like living in 2011, must've been so exciting"

  • Im 17 now, and i've been watching this show my whole life, got every episode recorded on vhs haha.. But anyway, this was just one great, hell of a show. One that any normal kid in the country could relate to in any way. It brings back so many younger memories for me

  • this sucks!

  • I am transported back to 1993: just yesterday.

  • i loved this show! i watched wih my dad all the time *im 13 i was 10 then* everynight it would come one 2 episodes a night at 10:00 and didnt miss a episode, i loved paul he was the inocent one lol we were so exited for it to return next year, it didnt come on :(

  • @emilywuzhere511 they show it at 9:00 pm on "the hub" channel :D

  • this aint the original ending! missing the scene when they are all grown up

  • I still have the hots for wendylen cooper.

  • I lost my best friend this summer, and just like that this morning, I remembered quotes from The Wonder Years, and I haven't watched in like, forever. I loved the show when I was a kid, and watched it from beginning to end. And I still remembered words from this show just like that. I remembered Kevin talking about "Memory", and I remembered this part here when he said "Growing up happens in a heartbeat." I'll be damned. Life is something isn't it? And sometimes you wonder where did the time go.

  • Damn I still remember when this one air on fox 11 when I was in 7th grade in1993 I watch it best show ever

  • this jus got me depressed

  • Wow, is ABC ever loosing out on a lot of revenue from this show alone. Greed....

  • I miss this show! It brings back so many memories! I swear this show reminds me the importance of how life goes by fast and to enjoy the time you have with your family and cherish every moment with them.. I want to cry now ;(

  • Have you guys realized how similar The Wonder Years and the movie Stand By Me are? Man, even their end are alike. On Stand By Me, the kid enters the office or whatever and asks his father(the main protagonist) if they're going to come out and play and his father says "". I'll be right there" Maybe the authors of TWY got inspired by the movie. I'm quite sure about that

    Check it out: watch?v=TW-tcUYwQnc&feature=related

  • I cannot believe they had Kevin's dad die only two years after when this was set- he still would have been in his teens when he lost his father.

  • Almost 25 and I remember this being on Nick @ NIte with Happy Days. I loved these shows, love this one still, Happy Days doesn't stick that well... But this show really everytime I watched it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling and now a tear to my eye...truly one of the greatest shows ever made. Ill always love it.

  • This always makes me cry. It's such a beautiful monologue

  • This always makes me cry. It's such a beautiful monlogue

  • I'm so glad Winnie and Kevin didn't get married. It made it so much more REAListic, not idealistic. By contrast, I always thought Boy Meets World was so corny--that show just gave in to what the [young, naive] audience wanted...this show stayed true to its main purpose: to remind people of their own lives. Everyone had a crush on the boy/girl next door. And statistically, very few people ended up married to him/her. Although, if I were Winnie, I never woulda let Kev go.. ;-)

  • When i watched thought of my own wonder years. The narration at the end with the music was perfect i felt the tears welling up inside. What he said was absolutely true."The memory's of childhood stay with you for the long haul" and i too" after all these years look back with wonder"

Back to a place and time love dearly but i can never go back to.I was not a fan of the show when it was on the air but i am now.

  • i thought the ending was terrible. i would have figured fans would wanted to have seen kevin and winnie end up together for good. i always dislked there on and off again status throughout the show as well. i like happy endings. i live in US and this show has not yet been released on dvd. has it elsewhere?

  • @Goodie8486

The artists that allowed the use of their music in the show are holding out for more money. Basically holding the show ransom. It will never be released on DVD anywhere.

  • So sad when he speaks about his family at the end. Especially when he says "When Dad passed away" :(

  • this makes me cry <3

  • just incredible..not ashamed to say i have cried while watching this a few times, it just hits you straight to the heart, no matter how old we all get, the memories of childhood and the innocence of childhood stay with you for a lifetime, what a great show it was and I am glad I was able to grow up and watch it during those times

  • This is the first time I've seen the ending since it originally aired. Kind of a downer that he and Winnie didn't wind up together. I know that might be a bit simple, but it's really the only appropriate way to end the series.

  • Reflection is wonderful, but none of us can live in the past. To quote one of Spike Milligan's mates' ' Is it that the present is so traumatic and the future so uncertain that we find comfort in the past'...

  • you can almost hear Daniel Stern crying during the naration

  • OK I HAD A GOOD CRY

  • Who did Kevin marry with?

  • Paul actually got handsome. That's a shock if you see the old epidodes like in 1990

  • Hey...growing older isn't so bad. LOL! Life doesn't end at 21 or 25. I'm 62 now. Yep. Eligible for social security. And where is it written that you have to "grow up" just because you grow older? Naw. Keep those who are close to you close, live every moment and, you know, the good memories, they stay with you. Really. So do some of the not so good ones, but....don't dwell on them. I loved Wonder years and yes, you're right, there is nothing else like it anywhere now.

  • The ending with Winnie not being his wife had to happen. To put a cap on the show, that not everything happens as you want it to.

  • For everyone wanting to download the show, follow these steps like I did.

    1. Get invited to Demonoid, It's a private torrent site.

    2. Download a torrent client. (Go google uTorrent and dload it)

    3. After you gain access to Demonoid, go to this link: demonoid(DOT)me/files/details/1473612/15043508/

(Replace the (DOT) with an actual period)

    4. lick on "Click here to download the torrent"

    5. It will take a bit but you'll have the whole show soon

    Hope I helped :)

  • @ClutchLikeMeIo how do you GET INVITED to demonoid?

  • When I was ten I wanted to be five, when I was twenty I wanted to be ten, now Im thirty two and I want to relieve every year in my past. This show reminds me to appreciate today and hope for tomorrow, and tell everyonein my family "I love you" as much as I can.

  • One of the best shows ever...

  • YES, the best show ever...with the WORST ending ever. I cry every time I see this, because Kevin & Winnie should have married & Kevin's dad should not have died. Like anyone else my age, we all want to hold on to the best times of our lives (Growing up) and not let go. I am in my 50's now, and if I had the chance to see one last tv show before I died, would choose this episode, cry again, and die happy.

  • They were too in love for her to have gone away to study art history of all things!!!!! Plus, then not see each other for eight years! They should be together!!!!!!!!!! Worst ending of probably the best show ever!!!!!!!

  • i started watchong this show on the hub it is a very good show and my mom saw it with my sister

  • From a non-American, Americans can make TV shows that are a little too sappy, too much treacle. This is not one of them. It's very believable, characters have flaws. We love and hate them depending on the episode. That of course is the writing, the acting, the productions. I never had a chance to see the last couple of seasons, but will seek them out now on DVD. Wonder Years is for the 1960s what The Waltons is for the 1930s or Little House is for the (late 19th century).

  • Best show ever. Watched this episode again today for only the fourth or fifth time but it makes me cry like a little girl. It's just that good of a show.

  • found a new fan site about the show: the-wonder-years. com

  • Im not sure if I feel older because The Wonder Years started 23 years ago, or because it ended 18 years ago. One of my favorite shows of all time.

  • For everyone saying he should've ended up with Winnie, lemme just say that this show is a fucking fantastic representation of life. People grow apart, love changes forms, and things rarely end up how you want or expect them. We can only hold on to the people, places, and experiences that bring us joy in the hopes that we can one day look back and cherish them fully. Damn shame us 80's/90's kids are the last to experience TV as great as this, though. :(

  • @chronotriggerfan I agree man. Life is so fucking short, so live it to the fullest.

  • @chronotriggerfan I'm 14 and I love this show.....

  • @chronotriggerfan

I fully agree, great video isn't it?

  • They play an episode a night on the station named "Hub". It starts at 8:00 PM (Central Time). For all of yall looking to relive the memories of your golden years, and watch with wonder.

  • Winnie is now called Rebecca Black and is in the "music" business :(

  • Kevin and Winnie totally should have ended up together. Re-do!

  • I miss this show.I get emotional when I see this ending. The Wonder Years had to be one of the best tv shows of all time. It is too bad we may never see this on DVD.

  • possibly the BEST ending to any series ever !!!!

  • I didn't like how he bet and lost the car his grandfather practically gave him. other than that the series is great.

  • GREAT show! I wish they made more shows like this. I wish Kevin and Winnie ended up together though. :(

  • One of my favorite shows... Thanks for sharing this!

  • I just cried.

  • I just finished watching the whole series again after a 4 year break from the show. Fitting enough I'd finish it one day after July 4th haha. This show was great. Didn't exhibit half the brain dead crap that's on tv now. This show taught lessons and morals. Not to mention THE BEST ENDINGS TO EVERY EPISODE! This was a magical and great ending that gave me goosebumps. Only 16 right now but can't help to already start looking back and missing things. I just wished Kevin and Winnie married haha.

  • @ClutchLikeMelo How did you watch every episode? I've been looking everywhere for full-length episodes because they aren't on DVD.

  • @NY773 Got it off a torrent.

  • @ClutchLikeMelo how did you watch the whole series? on what?

  • @sw1tched Torrent it bro

  • good wonder years :')

  • MORE ON LOCATION: Those who say there are quite a few references to New York did catch Neal Marlens' "subtle hints" to his own childhood on Long Island. Many people don't realize, but "The Wonder Years" was actually Marlens' second attempt at retelling the story of his youth...the first one was called "Growing Pains", and although that series was far more successful than TWY in popularity, to Marlens, it was a successful failure, so he and wife Carol Black retooled that concept to develop TWY.

  • Well in his defense he was the voice before he was a robber in home alone

  • I still can't believe one of the robbers from Home Alone has such a great voice lol

  • OMG, I'm bawling again watching it for the first time since the show ended...this show touched me so much...and this is still one of the best finales of any show IMO!

  • "after all this years i still wonder."wow. I've gone from episode 1 to series finale.....all the memories came rushing in.BTW I have my time machine ready.Who's coming?

  • Why did they kill off the dad...couldn't leave well enough alone could they?

  • I can't blv the guy who voiced the adult Kevin Arnold was Marv the burglar from Home Alone! lol

  • Kevin should have at least gotten a drunken handjob from Winnie after putting up with her shit for all those years.

  • I know they were trying to be humorous and shit, but "Cooker Of Mashed Potatoes" is the stupidest Fucking line to end a Character's exit!! Don't believe me?! Ask Alley Mills!!

  • @vanray02 She also had business woman and board chairman to her credit. Cooker of Mashed potatoes was basically just an add on to the many things a 70s and beyond woman was capable of...

  • Depressing as fuck im out lol

  • @actuary33 I believe they're only a waste of time if you're just a dreamer and not a doer.I don't know the circumstances behind you discovering that engineering wasn't in the cards, but you obviously weren't meant to be doing that as a career.

  • @BirthofCharlie Another thing was that if he was married and busy with his own family life, how did he get time to write to Winnie every week or even make it a priority to do so?I can totally understand the part where it was not mentioned who Kevin's wife was, however.

  • @cam2540 Boy meets World,on the other hand, was so unrealistic!

  • @brfts2001 And that location ambiguity factor was another part of the Wonder Years' appeal for the very ring.eason we could all relate to it.If it was just set in suburban L.A.,then it would be way too cliche and stereotypical with them always going to Malibu Beach or surfing.

  • @landrykkb Kevin always wore a Mets hat so I think it was supposed to be set in either NY or NJ.

  • @Callmps Yes...NY, off the top of my head? it was either Staten Island or Long Island...so many years now :)

  • @vanray02 Keep in mind that he is talking about his MOM-he remembers all of the great things that she accomplished as a woman of the '70s, but to him he will always remember her mashed potatoes (of course, you are right about the humor part: almost every meal she served in the entire series involved mashed potatoes!). @landrykkb @TriviaGeek463 As far as location, it is well known that the show was never meant to have a precise location but rather "Anytown USA", but it WAS shot in California.

  • @thewvnetwork As Callmps said...that was why I thought it was NY LOL.

  • @Callmps Actually, in one of the episodes, you see the main character's (Kevin) driver's license, and it is indeed a California driver's license.

  • @klifframos And it was irrelevant that the show was set 20 years earlier because it featured the same teenage and family issues as the then-modern day.

  • @EDRAM9 Speaking for myself, while I would have eventually discovered all these great songs, they're 10 times more significant to me because of hearing them on The Wonder Years and the poignant moments which they were played.

  • @rmayer0000 It might have been platonic on Winnie's part, but definitely not Kevin's.He chased Winnie for a long, long time.

  • @Staycie The ending was perfect because there was no happily-ever-after ending, therefore resembling life as we know it.

  • @Ratman3684 That would be a fair assumption, considering he was always stressed out coming home from work.
