Here is my thought, at least part of this song is about not facing problems and that even though it seems like doing so will help make you feel better, things will only get worse in the end. The part where he says "Are you afraid of what they think, whoever 'they' happen to be" i think he means that if you can't face you own problems people will think negatively of you even though there is no one that thinks this. This is a good song, it has helped me face my own problems.

I generally dislike any kind of Pop music, but I don't go about bitching about it. It is what it is. That's why different genres of music exist people people's taste in music is often very different.

Sometimes it feels as if it were not worth fighting through, but in the end....you have a choice either you end it all (kill yourself) which im say NOT to do....DO NOT kill yourself, or you can choose to fight through that pain. I know i have been through pain, i know what it feels like, but you know what? I choose to fight, and in the end, it gets better. You will have your moments, but fight. Let no one bring you down.
