I recently got back from a trip to the states and was surprised with the focus on head. They pour with a lot of head over there, and advertise it as a good thing. Personally I want only a single finger width of head on a schooner or pint, not 3 fingers. A good barperson shouldn't need a device like that to pour a decent head.
Also, constructive criticism.
The head appears to me made of large foamy bubbles making for an unattractive beer and harder to drink.
Cookman, the jetting tap is designed to use with cask ale, that is poured directly from a cask, there is no artificial gas to propel dispense, thus causeing a very small or non existant head on the beer, so the jetting tap will enable the user to either serve a beer with no or little head, or create a foamy head which should be about a thumb width, so the drinker can consume his ale through a creamy head which will last to the end of the pint, deoending on the speed of consumption.
Absolutely genial idea! Lovely thick head without straining all the life out of the beer!
