The only reason it's not a good idea to sleep with your babies/still very young children in bed is because you could accidentally roll over and crush them or suffocate them without knowing it. Its the parents choice though i guess.. but i wouldn't recommend it, just to be safe. Your son is so adorable by the way (: Congrats on being a new mommy.

He's a cute baby! My we co-slept with out son for a few months and it was fine. He preferred it that way and we appreciated not having to go upstairs each time to feed him.

Oh, he is ADORABLE! :) Congratulations on having such a sweet, beautiful little boy! Don't stress the "sleeping alone" thing too much.. my husband and I have anywhere from 0-3 babies in our bed depending on the night. :) Our 16 month old still sleeps with us nearly every night. Right in between us.. he's always been fine there, as have all of our 4 kids. Co-Sleep if you Want Sleep!

Both our kids co-slept with us and it was not a problem at all I don't understand all the negativity about what really is a natural instinct I know we live in the 'Modern' world but I'm not sure we have to change everything according to the so called 'experts' advice Trusting your instincts will be the best thing you can do as a parent and there is no universal right or wrong if it suits you as a family to co sleep then do so without guilt if independent sleeping is your choice then great :):)

Your baby is so cute, and I would hate to see anything happen to him when he sleeps in your bed with you. My sisters friends had a son that died because the father of the baby was sleeping and rolled over on the baby and suffocated it, so try to be very careful with him. :)

When my older sister had her first we were all caught off guard by this new voice.... we laughed so hard and said it was similar to going through puberty- when boys become men their voice changes, when women become mothers their voice changes! it's was dubbed "mommy voice" and it reigns strongly in our family! :) lol!
