I have to agree with you. The song is good, even though i was so young so i never saw the past episodes but it doesnt fit the visual intro, probably because this one is faster than the older ones and more animated in a way.

they should bring this theme back people would actually neighbours. i hate the way its filmed too. it was at its best on the BBC

i prefer this one from Greg Hinds Theme 1992-1998 the new neighbours them is ok

Love the cheesiness of it, reminds of the good old days in the 90's, the credits where better with them all having fun in the street together.
